Given what they retail for singly, this is a true bargain at just under a tenner for 8 pens! There are two different assortment of colours on the same Amazon product code number, here, so it is worth double checking that the right one has been selected, to avoid disappointment, IMO..I am describing 'ASSORTED-2', here.♦ Pack of 8 - all different colours:~ PINK~ VIOLET~ LIGHT BLUE~ LIGHT GREEN~ BLUE~ GREEN~ ORANGE~ WINEThese come supplied in a blister pack measuring around 12 cm x 18.5 cm x 2.75 cm.♦ uni-ball♦ eye♦ LIQUID INK♦ ROLLERBALL♦ Mitsubishi Pencil Co. Ltd♦ Made in Japan♦ 0.7mm/UB-157Each comfortable, round-barrelled pen is GREY in colour with silver-coloured cap clip and measures around 13.75 cm in length allowing for the slight protrusion on the end of the cap, which indicates the ink colour ~ as does the 'flash' on the barrel. The pack states MEDIUM/0.7mmThe pens state FINE.In practice I find them fine enough for the work I do - they are reliable and smooth. A little drying time needs to be allowed for to avoid smudging particularly if using non-matte paper or underlining with a ruler, in my experience. The cap can be put over the base when in use, if required, and the clip stops it from rolling around if you put it down on the table. From the back of the pack:♦ GB Liquid Ink Rollerball~ Consistent smooth writing until last drop of ink~ Stainless steel tip~ Contains waterproof, fade resistant ink

The pens arrived quickly with appropriate packaging as expected - delivered through Amazon. The opacity of the inks really make the colours stand out and are great for revision for students or general colour coding.I find these pens to write very well as they are 'inkier' than a typical Biro pen (which I find randomly run out which makes writing look messy) but not overly inky like a fountain pen.The pen does take a second to fully dry on some paper so it can occasionally smudge - I find this is common when using rulers or when writing slowly/colouring block areas in - although when writing on typical lined paper it won't typically smudge (this goes for the entire brand)- and these pens are quite bad when writing on glossy type paper; though sometimes it's possible if left to dry... for quite a while.I am very picky when choosing pens but I have found this style and brand of pen to work really well and the variety of colours have made a nice addition with my others - as I have used this brand of pens for over 6 months. So overall - Nice pens, worth getting if you're a student or have work which you colour code, not really ideal for anything other than writing (e.g. drawing etc.) but is doable, and they look nice and stand out.Worth buying and the pens will last you a long time (if you don't loose them first!)

Have been using Uni Ball products for over 20 years and if you are looking for a no nonsense pen that just simply works from the first use to the last drop of ink then these are the pens for you.I write a lot on a daily basis and as a sad as what it sounds life is too short for ropey / dodgy pens that such as Bics that don't deliver the ink perfectly half of the time with breaks in the flow on the paper. The Uni Balls deliver a constant and reliable flow of ink which is fast drying limiting the potential for smudges.Never in 20 years of use have I have had one leak on me and can safely keep in a pocket, bag or case knowing I won't be risking a ink covered laptop case.As I said above these pens deliver their ink exactly the same from the first use to their last drop so no having to fight with a pen nearly out of ink to get it to work. They are also comfortable in the hand even after extended periods of continuous use. They are Japanese designed and made which in itself is a mark of quality.I am afraid that is about all I can think about to write.... but if you are like me and write a lot do yourself a favor and try these they are well worth the extra money.

These are great pens: they are accurate with no wobbles, and cheap enough that if you lose one occasionally it's no big deal. They write well merely resting on the paper, unlike ballpoints and even some other rollerballs that you must actively press in to the paper to make an impression causing writer's cramp. The "fine" line width is perhaps marginally thicker than I'd like but the ball is large enough to write smoothly, unlike the finer "micro" size I have always found to feel scratchy. They're not quite perfect though. Cosmetically the design is a little too cluttered with printing and various labels, giving a slightly cheap appearence to the pen. This gets worse with use as it can then begin to start flaking off in places. My biggest gripe however is the performance when brand new - it seems that initially ink doesn't get to all parts of the ball, meaning that the pen can occasionally stop working mid-stroke for a few millimetres. This does settle down in time, but it is not simply a case of making a few scribbles to get the pen "started" - it takes several pages writing to get the pen working in a truly reliable mannner.

I looked through all the reviews and no-one has highlighted a precise description of what colours are included in this pack.So here are the eight pens included in this particular pack. They are -Light Green (close to a pea green)Green (a jade type colour)Light Blue (better known as sky blue - great colour)Blue (a standard blue bordering on a slightly faded navy - just)Pink (a slightly dark powder pink)Violet (rich dark purple - beautiful colour)Orange (exactly that - orange!)Wine-Red (a rich dark red)The two not included in the pack are -Black (simply black - just that) & Red (a blood type red - very rich) - but these can be currently bought individually for as little as £1.89 (incl p&p)at the time of writing this review. So there you are - in total ten fabulous colours available from the Uni-ball Eye Fine UB-157 range.Superb pens. However - they don't write well on glossier type paper - for example - some types of greeting cards - the neon paper ranges etc but that's a small quibble.Hope that helpsN

These pens write very well, don't bleed through even cheap paper and do not feather. The only problem is that they take a little while to dry.In the pack, all the colours are great except for the green. I was expecting it to be a dark green but it isn't, it is more of a pale green/blue. The orange, wine, pink and violet are my favourites, nice and bright especially the orange and violet. The blue isn't very bright, it seems a little watery compared to the other pens, but it isn't too noticeable. It should be noted that although the pen tip size is "fine" this is actually medium and just slightly smaller than using a 0.7mm pen. They contain Uni-ball "Super-Ink" which is waterproof and fade-proof.The ink is definitely water-proof as I tested one of my previous Uni-ball pens by writing with it and running the piece of paper under a tap - it did not bleed or even feather! No ink ran off the page. They are well worth the price of the pack, coming to about 75p per pen and would be great for revision etc.

While I was initially put off purchasing a set of these pens because of the reviewer who was only sent a single pen (!) I agreed with the reviewer previous to that who stated that surely it could have been settled through Amazon. Realising this I thought I'd take a chance and ordered. A couple of days later I'm pleased to say that I'm armed with a full set of a dozen red pens with which I can unleash corrections and expletives upon the world in equal measure. I say pleased, mainly because while I really like these pens they do seem a little over priced at their normal "street" price, but as a multi-pack like this the price seems about right. The flow is excellent and I like the unfussy shape.Furthermore, if you have other colours, you can still tell which is which with the lids off (this is what happens when my children borrow them) and then you can easily match the lids with the pens again afterwards. What more is there to write, it's a red pen.

These are the best pens I use.If I want to fondle an expensive piece of plastic at a business meeting, I take my Meisterstück Platinum-Coated Classique Rollerball. When I actually want to write something, I take out one of these.Unlike the beautiful Montblanc, I can leave these lying around the house, desk, car, etc. with the top off and yet and yet they will write perfectly first time until moments before the ink runs out.(My Mont Blanc writes as if it's about to run out after a few days - this despite what the Chief Executive of Montblanc's henchwoman tells me about their fine craftsmanship and decades of development when I wrote to complain. They did send me three new, so definitely genuine, refills, but I prefer to refill myself using a pair of pliers, a syringe and my own choice of ink, which drastically improves things.)Buy these in boxes of 12 - you won't be disappointed and you'll need this many as they mysteriously disappear.

In this pack there are 8 uni-ball eye pens; 1 x Blue, 1 x Light blue, 1 x Violet, 1 x Orange, 1 x Pink, 1 x Wine, 1 x Green and 1 x Light green with nib size; 0.7 mm Line.Uni-ball eye by the Mitsubishi Pencil Co. is my favourite brand of pen. I use them all of the time at home and work. They're fine enough to write on narrow lined or graph paper and the ink doesn't fade which makes them great for underlining and making notes. At the side of the pen there's an window to show how much ink is left in the pen so you know when to change it which isn't too often. These are pens that last. I haven't known the ink in uni-ball pens to soak through paper, even when it's not great quality, and they write smoothly even on sketch paper. Available in a wide variety of colours with some great shades of pink, purple and green for those times you want to stand out from the crowd.Happy to recommend.

I was using the standard black, blue, and red pens for a few years, then I saw this so I grabbed them. You can see how much ink is left in the pens, and there is a variety. They are easy to hold and don't look bad either. They are ink pens so can smudge. In the written picture, the black and red does not come with the pack, I was just testing my original pens hence why they are separate. The 'test smear' bit was me testing whether the pens would smear immediately after writing, and a few seconds after writing, 'test' being immediately after and 'smear' being a few seconds after (usually after I wrote the next line). I know it's a bit weird, but that was just me testing the pens, not meaning for it to go in a review. The 'test' did smear quite a bit so they maybe aren't the best for lefties. My only gripe would be that the "green" and "light blue" look very similar.

My favourite pens ever, although there are some drawbacks.Pros:Smooth and fast writingDoesn’t require much force on pageHand doesn’t hurt as much when writing a lot quite quickly compared to other pensVery ‘black’ (a very dark black which is really noticeable when compared with other black pens)Cons:Smudges a lotGoes through page quite easilyCan run out of ink fairly quicklyAll in all these are great pens which I love to use for school. They are my favourite, however they are a bit expensive for what they are and are not really suitable for left handed people considering how much they smudge.I would recommend them for people who do a lot of writing (eg students)and don’t mind paying the price for them.I would not recommend them if you want a pen that will last you a long time and that will not smudge.

I have been using these pens for the last few years, and keep coming back to them. The box is a really good deal, since in stationery shops they tend to go for €4 each.I always recommend them to friends, and family, due to how quality they are.I tend to get a box of them once a year, since most of the time I run out of them, as people like to take them with them after lending them. Just shows how good of a pen it is :)Only issue that I have with them, is that when writing the ink sometimes stops coming out. This is mostly due to the fact that when I write, I tend to put some pressure down on the page, which over time accumulates paper particulates. A quick shake fixes this, so it's just a minor inconvenience, hence I took a star away.

These pens are great, the colours are bright and easy to see, they last a long time and are very reliable. I like the three different colours, ideal for making notes on other documents. The pens are lightweight and easy to hold. I would highly recommend these pens to anyone.I bought the limited offer packages with 3 pens plus 1 free. I expected to receive 4 of the Uni-Ball Eye Fine UB-157 pens. Instead I got 3 of them plus a Uni-Ball Signo gold metallic pen. It's a nice enough pen, writes well and is a bronze/gold colour, however, when the product description sad 3 pens plus 1 free it didn't make clear that the extra pen was a different kind.Something to watch out for if you buy the same offer.

not the most stylish of pens - the bar code etc printed on the side alongside the 'made in japan' info stop it from being anything except wholly functional. But they are a reasonable price for the quality (how can it be economical to ship plastic pens halfway around the world? It's a mystery to me.) Among the good points are a transparent strip to show remaining ink level, a consistent and reliable ink flow, a light weight while being very comfortable to hold (possibly too small for a very large hand), a sturdy clip and well-fitting cap. Overall it has that indefinable quality that encourages good, or at least legible, handwriting. Definitely my favourite reasonably-priced pen.

The colours given are:PurpleRed (the cap and tip look dark pink, but it comes out red)PinkOrangeDark GreenLight GreenDark BlueLight BlueSo there IS NO BLACK, which is a bummerAlso, you can't write on shiny surfaces or paper. And even on normal paper, it takes a few seconds to dry properly, so if you're drawing something in a rush, be careful not to put your hand on the paper where you've just written as it will smudge.Otherwise, they are very good. The colours are nice and bright, And they work great for things like revision with notes in different colours. The tips are nice and thin so you can write with them, but they won't be great for colouring in areas.
