I bought a box of 12 in Nov 2011 but have only started using them the last half of 2018. To be fair, they are the pen I have always preferred to use for my tuition work so fill pages of A4 notebooks every week and the reason I didn't l get round to using this box was simply that I was using the existing uniball pens I had bought - buying a box of 12 too far in advance of when I needed them was my mistake. It's perhaps not surprising that the pens, having sat vertically in a their unopened box for nearly 7 years, are dry and scratchy and now unusable - I checked the box for a use by date but there isn't one - clearly it's less than 7 years! I'd be interested to know how long they are expected to be in peak condition.

I've been through three years of law school at very prestigious universities and I will say that this is the best pen. They last a very long time if you're not studying something like law, and it's fun to watch the paper absorb the ink. There are those wonderful moments when you go and take a law exam and use like two thirds of the ink in one in the three hours you're there. So much writing. The joy.

Buy these pens! The best pens i have used hands down. Was looking for some pens to use for my exams and that would allow me to write fairly neatly. I'm left handed and these are great. The ink lasts ages. I'm still on my first pen and have done hours of revision using it. Buy them guys! Ink flow is great. A little scratchy sometimes but the ink flow makes up for it. Amazing pen

Smooth writing, fine point, comfortable ... just don't leave them in your shirt pocket when you do the laundry.Or, if you do, don't let the wife see the subsequent mess.Buy a dozen so you've got some replacements. Once immersed in water they are ruined.

I love these pens - writing is smooth, nice fine line, I tend to write in block caps, which seem to look smarter on the page with these pens. Waterproof feature an added bonus. Also produces a good clear fine line if, like me, you write a lot in shorthand.

it's amazing and good value but it really doesn't work with highlighters. I've had to wait even up to a couple of days and it still smudges. Otherwise, I've used this pen brand for 5 years and it's going great :)

These are the best pens! I buy the specifically for work as I don't like the feel of biros. They are smooth to write with and last ages! Great pens and great value for money! Definitely recommended!

I'm a teacher, so I use a lot of red pens. These are great because they don't bleed or smudge. The flow is quick and they do the job perfectly. This is my second pack and I will probably buy more.

Pens are always amazing to write with, especially good for maths where the thin tip really comes in handy when you’re noting indices or other small notation. Overall great value for money.

Impressive & professional, with excellent regular ink-flow and substantial colour depth. This UB-150 (as "Micro Nib") version is finer than the Medium nip and has a more of a precision.

I’m afraid I become ‘that’ person in the office where these pens are concerned! I just won’t let them wander...they write well, last a long time and have fine nib (my preference).

Easily my favourite pens - I get about a month out of each pen and they're good to the last drop of ink - no messing about shaking the pen to try and get the last of the ink out.

Always use these. They are reliable, never flood, have great colours (i buy the entire range when needed) and you can see when the reservoir is nearly empty. Recommended.

I have small handwriting and a big part of my job is marking up written documents for editing - these are perfect for precise instructions and small print.

If you are left handed these are the pens for you! After trying a lot of pen I found these are best for left handed writers . They came really quick .
