It is highly unusual for an ultra wide angle lens to exhibit such a low level of distortion, plus it's a zoom lens which makes it even more rare to have this low level of distortion and to make things even rarer, it's affordable to many people! PLUS IT'S RAZOR SHARP!I can't think of a reason for not buying this lens over another similar ultra wide angle for crop sized sensor cameras, both photographic and cine, other than the lack of any inbuilt image stabilization. If you need image stabilization then go else where, but the lenses with stabilization all seem to be F4 or slower.Works great with my Sony FS7 with a Sigma EF to Sony E mount adapter. This is for Canon bodies. Wasn't too clear when I purchased it. Seems to be French stock judging by the booklet it came with. Not too important as instructions not really required for a lens. I've had limited time with it but seems a cracking lens. The amount of light it lets in is awesome, so a good lens for night photography and auroras. Sadly the infinite setting isn't quite right so if fully turned it isn't in focus. That would've been nice but this might vary per lens. Easy enough to remember though as it has the dial.

Impressed with images quality and how wide the lens is! Its very light compare to my 24-70 L 2.8 ..Definitely recommend it!i don't like the auto focus, it makes noise and not as quick as canon lens! Often auto focus lags and don't focus correctly!! It also has high purple fringing issue depending on lighting!!Overall its a good lens and definitely worth over high priced competitors out there ?

I use this lens mainly for 4K video on the EOS R full frame camera. This is a crop factor lens but when used on the Canon EOS R, with it's cropped 4K senor, it produces beautiful non cropped super sharp video in low light. The lens is a very fast 2.8 f stop lens.In my view the lens is very well made, very sharp and an accurate focusing lens. It's a great match for the Canon EOS R lens.

I was shooting with Tokina 11-16 on Canon and Nikon and I loved it. I switched to this Tokina 11-20 and I'm very pleased. Main difference comparing to Tokina 11-16 is that 11-20 has less sun flare, and longer zoom. I don't use zoom at all but flairs on 11-16 was an issue. There are sill some but much smaller and actually nicer. I'm very very happy with this lens.

I love using this lens. I will use it on AF for photography and MF for filming (as the focusing is a tad loud) but it suits me for what I need. I use it primarily with a Canon 700D, brilliant combo. - If you want to use it with a full frame camera, be aware that you'll only get the 18-20mm at the end and from 11-17mm will be vignetted in the corners -

The Tokina 11-20mm f2.8 wide angle lens is great for landscape and star trail photography. Constant aperture of f2.8 great for low light situations through to f22 to capture more detail in the scene. I've used this lens with nd filters in bright situations and been very pleased with the results so far on my d7200.

Compared to the Nikon comparable lens this is hella cheap for good quality. Like a child I couldn't wait to play with this lens and ripped it out of the packaging. It doesn't disappoint! Don't get me wrong I would love to have the Nikon wide angle lens, but for the price you can't go wrong with this little beauty.

Took a bit longer than expected for delivery but we’ll worth the wait. Excellent sharp lens that takes very good wide angle photos. Highly recommended.
