These cards really appealed to me, being as each card has a different image from the 1914-18 war on the face. They're as much a historical record of the conflict in photographs and propaganda posters as a pack of cards. Like most Piatnik cards they're a pleasure to use, feeling thicker than bog standard cards, but not cumbersomely so. My only gripe is that there are no images from the smaller nations involved in WW1, but I do appreciate that source material from the smaller Allied/Axis nations can be a nightmare to find.All in all, highly recommended for either those interested in The Great War, or collectors of distinctive decks of cards.

These are good quality cards with great artwork on each one, lots of different photographs and posters from WWI plus a card with information on some of the photos. Sadly, lost one star because despite the product description, there is only one joker in the pack, not two.
