I use this as a solo tent. Just enough room for me and my rucksack. I have no idea what use a single tent would be as where I go it is generally pouring with rain at night - and I should think no room for kit with a single one. The in built ground sheet is so thin that if you pitch it anywhere other than a bowling green, you will have holes in it - so it is essential to also buy the ground sheet protector. Similarly, it comes with an appropriate number of tiny tent pegs - which are so small they too are only useful on a bowling green. So I carry 4 decent sized pegs and 6 slightly smaller - and they weigh about as much as the tent. But I'd rather have the tent still standing in the morning! So,

I'm 6"2 and so is the guy I do most of my hillwalking and mountain marathons with and I have found that this is a great size for a lightweight tent. I looked at the Laser 1 but it was just too small for regular use and this fitted the bill perfectly. I have used it in a range of different conditions from lovley to pretty horrible and it has stood up to everything very well. Yes, it's not a full on Mountain tent but then it only weighs a bit over 1kg. All in all I have found it to be a great tent

Excellent technical light weight but robust 2 man tent. Quite complex 'pulley' arrangement of strings and bracing rod at each end of the tent, to allow opening /closing of ventilation flaps from inside the sleeping area. Works well when carefully put up.
