I bought the “Country Doctor” and the “Country Nurse” sets for the Sylvanian Families lover in the household as a reward for trying hard with her school work..COUNTRY DOCTOR/CLINICThe box calls this “Country Doctor” but no “doctor” is included – in fact no animal included in the set, just a white doctor’s coat. This is the disappointing thing about a set of this size – others we have of the same size have had an animal included but not the “Country Doctor”.There are 26 stickers to apply and 10 push out and fold boxes and (2) magazines. If you have a small child you will have to apply the stickers and create the boxes, etc, yourself.We do ours before it is handed over to the small one.A major thing to beware of are the number of tiny plastic pieces involved – we assessed the contents before handing them to the little one. We gave her the ones which we deemed her to be old enough for and sensible enough for.Even though she is quite young she is quite sensible and is long past the stage of sticking things in her mouth, nose or ears, but every child is different so you may want to withhold some of the tiny plastic items like the thermometer, syringe, medicine bottles, tweezers, etc.Mostly she tends to place the items where she wants them and then moving the animals around the buildings and the “land” outside.The clinic comes with a table and an office chair for when the Doctor writes his notes up; a reception desk and bench for waiting patients and relatives, the patients will have to balance on a stool while talking to the doctor. There is an examination table, a height measure and bathroom/medical scales. Included is a small cast should one of the animals break a leg or foot.The Clinic is a stackable building which means that you can turn your single story Clinic into a multi-story hospital with the Clinic acting as Outpatients/Casualty and the Cosy Cottage acting as the hospital for in-patients or overnight stays. The attic room became the staff on-call/rest area.Overall the building and contents are excellent, as is all the tiny medical equipment included. What a shame that they didn’t include a “doctor” animal in the “Doctor” set..COUNTRY NURSE SETThis set comes with a pale fawn/cream coloured bunny in a pink nurse’s outfit and she is a little cutie.As well as a wheelchair and a treatment trolley the box has a lot of tiny pieces; everything from kidney dishes and dishes with lids to a hot water bottle, thermometer, ointment tubes, syringe and scissors which actually open and close. I counted 23 small items in total in our box (not including the wheelchair and the trolley.There are no stickers to apply, though there is one box to put together. Also in the small plastic bag are two small pieces of material (which I think are meant to be dressings), a blanket to keep your patient warm, a strip of material (probably meant to be a bandage) and a pair of slippers.This is a really nice set but it did emphasise the lack of animal in the bigger build. The Sylvanian fan has asked for a repeat of this set to add to the medical equipment and add another nurse to the hospital staff – though, apparently, she is going to make the bunny into the doctor and add a squirrel to the set as another nurse..I hope that the lack of an animal in the “Doctor” set doesn’t mean that the company is making cutbacks on what they are including in their sets.

The detail that went in to this set is ridiculously cute! Some of the pieces however are ridiculously small from thermometers and syringes. I like to buy and label a small Square Tupperware box for each shop/place to keep all the small bits together once finished with play and place it inside to stop these bits from being lost. If your child is too young for some of these bits I would suggest using one to store the little bits until old enough. My daughter loves opening the box and setting it all up again, however major tantrums when she accidentally ‘jogs’ the clinic and all medicine bottles and pieces fall off the shelves!This seems to be one of the best value for money sets, so many accessories.The detail is great, little pill packets, and even prescription envelopes to put them in. This takes a long time to initially set up ... so many stickers! But if you buy a lot of Sylvanian family you’ll be used to this. Although I like the detail in all the medicine boxes, you can place the pills inside, these are always a pain as very fiddly to put together and end up out of shape or crushed.It doesn’t come with a character which would have been nice but it comes with a doctors coat and stethoscope and we had plenty of Sylvanians needing a job :DWe also bought the country nurse set which compliments this well, however loads more small pieces, which also frustratingly with the smallest jog kept falling off the trolley.Daughter opinion- she LOVES it which is the main thing. The imagination and stories she comes up with when playing is worth it to listen to. In the photo attached, the father and daughter squirrels were involved in a cake shop robbery (stealing cupcakes) and injured themselves trying to escape from Officer mittens ?

Bought as a present for my 5 year old daughter, she and her 7 year old sister love playing with their sylvanian families community. Great for encouraging imagination and creative play. I love the fact that sylvanian families are just the same as when I was little 30 something years ago.

My daughter has been asking for this Sylvanian family set all year , and finally had it for her birthday . She was thrilled with it and has already had hours of enjoyment from it . The set is well made , with lots of gorgeous little added extras , allowing for hours of imaginative fun .

Little one loves this, and many of the characters now have daily visits to the doctor. I love the attention to detail, with blister packs of pills and syringes, as well as larger items like a bed, weighing scales, and a height measure.

Lovely toy inspiring imaginative play. Does not include the doctor and nurse but there is a story about the clinic. I just wish the doctor in the story was female or the nurse male rather than continuing to enforce old stereotypes!

Have bought various Sylvanian Families products before and all have beenbrilliant, as I have not opened this as it is a present for my granddaughterI expect that it will be up to the great standards I have experienced.

I bought this set for my 4 year granddaughter who was very happy to receive it. She loves Sylvanian Families and this another great set for her to add to her collection. This was a good price for the set too.

My daughter loves this set, good price compared to other sites. I bought nurse set to go with it. Both items really cute and come with lots of intricate accessories. Will eventually add dentist set later on.

My granddaughter was absolutely thrilled with this as it was just what she had asked for her Christmas present. She is getting a nice collection of sylvanian items & gets hours of pleasure.

Looks good but bought for a Christmas present so not used yet. Characters look solid enough so should withstand a young child!Scope for lots of interactive play.

Fantastic quality just as you would expect from Sylvaniam Families. I purchased alongside the nurses set and my little girls love it.

My grand daughter loved this! So cute. Especially the wheel chair for the rabbit with the broken leg. Detail is amazing!
