When I first got my iPhone 5 a few months ago I was keen to protect it so looked for a case that suited. I read far too many 'Best iPhone 5 cases' articles and finally settled on this one, in part because it was at the price point I was after, but it had extra bits to plug the Thunderbolt and microphone ports as well, and it was said it did a good job of protecting the phone.From a 'protecting the phone' point of view, full marks. I haven't had any issues with it and have managed to drop my phone a few times at inopportune moments.My biggest gripe with the case (and I'm partly to blame as I chose the case and had seen a picture of it) is that it takes a gorgeously designed product like the iPhone 5,

I'm pretty clumsy at times so when I got my new iPhone I thought it best to get some protection for it. I've never had any other phone cases before so I can't compare it to others but this one seems pretty good. Completely hard cases will only protect from scratches because the force of an impact just transfers straight through but this case has a rubber corners, which will (hopefully!) absorb some of that. It's very slim and attractive enough if you don't want anything too showy. I've yet to have a bad drop with it so I can't say how it really performs when you need it most.The screen cover is not great. Again, never used one before so can't compare with others, so temper my review with that knowledge.

It took me a few weeks to decide on the iPhone5 so I sure wasn't going to rush into choosing a poor case. After reading several reviews on this product, especially from America, I chose it, and I am not disappointed. It is superb. Strong, easy to fit, looks great and does the job exactly as described. There are several colour choices, I may well buy another variation in the near future. Remember, the iPhone5 is slim, so you don't want a big bulky cheap looking protector, this SwitchEasy Tones is not bulky, when it is fitted it still retains the iPhone5's slim figure! The screen protectors are easy to fit, there is even one to protect the highly polished rear of the phone. The little plugs also are useful,

This case looks really nice, I'm just not sure if mine is genuine because of the excess plastic around the port holes and dust plugs that shouldn't be there. It's definitely not the quality I expect from switcheasy which is why I'm not sure on its legitimacy. Only other issue is the black around the camera has started to rub off which is a known issue apparently. The case itself does feel like its genuine its just the excess plastic mentioned earlier rustlers it down, I'm positive if ordered directly from switcheasy there would be no issues. For the price, the case is great and looks really good and I would buy another. The issues I mentioned can be corrected myself but shouldn't really have to be,

This is a great product, it fits so perfectly on my iPhone 5. The material is really top quality, the back and inside is hard plastic and the top and bottom is softer and more malleable plastic (to allow for plugging in accessories easier). The cutout are perfectly sized and there are covers for the headphone slot and the charge cable slot. The buttons are still easy to press with no issues at all. The design looks great and it doesn't add more weight. I've dropped the phone once already from just less than 6 feet off the ground and still phone was fine.One small thing I should mention is the the back of the case is not a "grippy" material, its matte and so it will slide if you put the phone on a tilted angle (e.g.

Awesome case, fits nice and snug and doesn't offensively add extra bulk.This is the second switch easy tones I've had, my previous being a white. The reason I switched to black was because the white got SO dirty, it just attracts marks and discolouration.Also the screen protector for the rear it comes with, put it on! It stops dust and particles that get down the side of the case from scratching up the rear. Take it from my experience, it's not a waste of time. The front protector however is in my experience, I can never get it to apply without bubbles or dust getting underneath, so I always bin the front after 10 minutes of trying.Brilliant case! I just wouldn't settle for anything else.

One thing this case has taught me is that people love to complain for the sake of it. This is a great quality case, really sturdy. I have changed from a rubber case as when i dropped my phone on an edge, the aluminium strip got a small dent through the rubber and there was also the chance of getting grit down the back of the case causing scrathing to the glass as happened to my iphone 4. The colour is 2 tone grey as it is in the photos but contrasts nicely with the phone. Buttons work well, slim to hold, both my jack plugs fit through it and also has the bonus of screen protectors and port covers included- very well thought out product.

I have seen so many iPhones without a case.They end up scratched, chipped or cracked glass, and just looking awful, and worthless 2nd hand.This case is simple, and works, and I think adds a simple modern look to the phone.Yes iPhone's are a wonderful piece or design, but not very rugged, so if you use your phone a lot, why chance damaging it.It also lifts the face of the phone off the surface if laid front down.Dust covers for the charge and headphone sockets are also great to stop dust ingress, although they are a little fiddly.

This case is amazing. I've been using it for more than 6 months now and it still looks like new. The plastic from which it's made is very durable because there isn't a single scratch on it on the back. Well, maybe there is but it is not easy to see if any. Apart from that it gives a very solid feel of the iPhone so I don't really feel bad if I accidentally drop it on the table because the case covers all areas of the iPhone. It could have been a little bit slimmer but maybe the design of this case is such, otherwise it is a great case.

+ It's a solid case that fits snugly+ Nice styling+ Slim and doesn't bulk up the iphone- Not much grip to the plastic, will slide around on a tableIt also has front and back screen covers but as a reviewer pointed out, the instructions make no sense. Still pretty easy to apply, not sure how I'll get it off. This is especially good protection for the back of the phone which can scratch if any grit gets inside the case.

Slim and with a snug fit, this case offers decent protection for your phone without adding too much unnecessary bulk. The case itself is made of a good quality plastic and I like the two-tone design. All the phone's buttons work well through the case. None of the ports are blocked. Not sure why one of the reviewers is complaining about not being able to hear his alarm or notifications properly. I've had no problems at all.

It's a well made case, and I feel the phone sits in the case securely. There are also some nice additional extras included in the box. However, the black case is really a dull grey and I feel like the plastic they used is not nice in the hand. It is smooth to pick out of your pocket, but it just doesn't have that aesthetic quality I was expecting.

Excellent Case.Super slim two-tone case that keeps original design without adding bulk. Grippy rubber top and bottom with slick midsection allowing for easy in and out pocket placement.Great protection, great looks, and it comes with front and back screen protectors, as well as closure rubber buttons for all ports.Best case on market.

Great case, fits snugly, buttons work nicely under the cover, easy to install and remove, and the lip around the front allows to set the phone down without the front glass touching the surface. Not the best looking case I have ever seen though. I was a bit disappointed that the black finish is really a bit grey and plasticky.

A few people have had reports of the colour fading and because it is not rubber very easy to slip out of your hand. I have had none of these problems and can only say great things about this case, very stylish and a extremely good protector from scratches and small drops.
