Curtain pole was right size, unfortunately as we had to extend the pole to fit the window, (as the window is very big) l find it extremely difficult to open and shut my curtains as they get stuck where the join is, so l can only open and close the Curtain on one side, half way.

This pole looks a lot more expensive than it was and looks really good when its up.
