Ive a lot Jackson Tools due to quality & this Fork is. Solidly made with a traditional ash handle from responsibly sourced wood from Forestry Commission. It is comfortable in the hand and nice to see old wood working skills used. The fork tines are fixed by 2 sets of rivets for added strength & is made of quality stainless steel. It just glides through the soil easily, has great strength & flex which can cope with the force of digging, with stainless steel it cleans really easily & effortlessly.

Gone through several run-of-the-mill forks, eventually they give out, rust away or the handle breaks. But this one is a grade above the rest. Quality materials for each part of the tool. Sturdy and comfortable wooden handle and stainless steel prongs are strong and will resist rust. Quality look and feel.More expensive than a standard garden fork, but you get what you pay for, and this one is worth investing in. Used in the right manner and stored properly it should last decades. Recommended.

Spear and Jackson synonymous for quality garden equipment. This garden fork didn't let me down. From the strong and robust stainless steel end through to the tactile and smooth ash handle at the other. This not only performs well it looks great too. It's strong and cuts effortlessly through my garden's borders. It's a great length and well designed as its handle is smooth and height wise, perfect for me. I would most definitely recommend

This fork is strong and looks the business. It does whatever is asked of it - digging, turning, all kinds of earthworks. It feels good in the hand and has a reassuring heft to it - a confidence inspiring solidity. The shiny tines match the stylish crafted wooden handle perfectly, and the fashion conscious digger could comfortably wear their best suit and wellies in any weather. Great price too!

nicely designed fork; looks good and good quality. However, the fork tinges bent really easily whilst digging out some tough roots in the garden. Maybe I put too much effort into digging the roots; but I did not expect the fork to bend this easily. Otherwise very good and probably a good fork for light work

Does what it says on the tin really. Why alter the perfect design. Forks been doing their thing since we invented em and this ones no different! Digs like a trooper. No bending of handle or feeling like I'm lifting too much weight as its a full solid item. 10year guarantee helps too so no worries at all!!

This is an excellent fork, great price and service!I probably dig and shifted approx 8t of earth with the aid of this to form a number of flower beds and it performed amazingly, only had to slow down to get my breath to do more.... extremely please and you shouldn’t hesitate to but this!!

Lovely fork to dig with. Bought this as a replacement to an old cheaper fork I had. I’m glad I did, I’ve used on my allotment and in the garden. Easy and also light enough to dig with. Great price and excellent delivery service did help with the whole experience.

Having bent my last three forks, I decided a bigger outlay was necessary to do the job required. Whilst in the cheap to mid range it has a sturdy handle with stainless steel head riveted to it. Although not fully tested it does seem to fit the requirements I needed

Ready to pick up straight away from my local Sainsburys. For the price you cannot beat this product. Very strong and well made. It looks really beautiful too. Don’t waist your money on any other cheap rubbish. This is the real deal. Should last a lifetime.

Excellent fork however as taken the decision to apply stainless steel I would expect the same level of longevity from the Handle which is wood. This fork is a replacement for my old stainless steel fork that also has a wooden handle that snapped off.

I am not a massive gardener but I am very happy with this digging fork , I also bought other Spear and Jackson products at the same time and I extremely happy with them too. Argos was cheaper than any other seller of all the products I purchased.

Having managed to bend or break several cheaper priced forks recently I decided to try the Spear & Jackson it's by far a better quality item and so far has served me well. I think it will stick with this manufacturer for the time being.

Though I own cheaper garden tools, I treated myself to this for the wooden handle rather than plastic. It's heavier because of the handle which I may yet regret, but it's sturdy and good quality so bound to last. Came packaged well.

A reliable brand, looks great until I picked it up.... No weight in it at all! Flexed as it was dug into semi wet soil. Pretty stunned to think I've paid double price for a brand name and, can't dig over a garden as it will snap!
