I've been a photographer for over 30 years and have many exceptional prime and zoom lenses. The Sony 135mm f1.8 GM lens is the sharpest I've ever owned. It is absolutely superb.I'm not a professional and I don't shoot many portraits for which this lens is primarily designed. I mainly use it for close up shots, isolating area's of architecture etc.I use it with my a9 and a7iii and in APS-C mode it becomes an amazing 202mm f1.8.It's an expensive piece of kit but worth every penny. I cannot speak too highly of this lens

I’ve owned leica’s and Canon L lenses this blows them away. It’s scarily sharp. Quality is second to non. It’s expensive but it’s worth the money.
