Having searched for ages for an idea for a hen party, I was thrilled to find these hats. The reviews were mixed, but I decided to take a punt and was really pleased with my hats. I bought 15 black hats and a red one (for the bride). They were delivered promptly (I picked the cheapest option with free delivery) and were in a large cardboard box which was sufficient to protect them.The hats themselves were great. They looked exactly like the picture. The hairband that they attach to was comfortable to wear and they sat at an appropriately jaunty angle. The veil was a little irritating, but that can be removed or pushed out of the way.

In arranging my sister's hen night, I decided on a theme of Top Hats and Tiaras. I chose this top hat as it was good value and fit for purpose and advised the "chicks" to purchase the same, which they did. I wasn't disappointed when it arrived although due to my small head :O( the hat was a little top heavy and kept titling forward!! Having said that it looked great (particularly on the other girls) and the hairband wasn't uncomfortable and didn't leave indentations in my head! For a fun accessory though this is perfect. :O) A staple item for any dressing up box!

I really liked the look of this hat but after reading other people's reviews I was really sceptical about buying it as everyone else had said how rubbish it was. I decided to buy it anyway, for such a good price I figured if it's not that great maybe I can just fix it up..I'm very happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this product.. It looks just as good as the picture, it's sturdy, it fixes on to the headband securely so there's no chance of it falling off and it looks awesome on!I would definitely recommend!

I bought this as part of a birthday outfit for my 50th! I took inpsiration from the poem "When I Am Old" by Jenny Joseph. I know 50 isn't old but I told the kids I was practising. They thought it was funny and the hat served it's purpose well. I'm not convinced that the hat will stay in place for too long as the weight (it's not really heavy) made the hairband slip towards the front of my head. My mum said it was like a cup and saucer on my head! I loved it and would recommend.

I love this little whacky hat. I have to say that the quality is really good considering the price, it's sturdy and compact. I've given it four stars because the headband is very uncomfortable and I shall be attaching the hat to elastic to make it more comfortable - as I wore it for 10 minutes and it was hurting my head (albeit a small head!) But anyone seeing it can't help being amused and it really is a fun item.

The hat itself was a great success to go with a mad hatter cosplay I wore out - however, its price does shine through pretty obviously. After a few hours, it began to slide off the hat band, and eventually the protruding part of the hat began to tear away from the base. However, for a temporary costume item, it worked very well and I was glad to see that I wasn't shedding glitter everywhere I walked!

Fabulous! My 5 year old daughter decided she wanted to be the Mad Hatter for world book day, with 6 days notice! Ordered the pink hat on Friday and it arrived with the postman on Monday! It's lovely, bigger than I'd thought and my daughter will be over the moon with it!

this is also for the race for life to finish my burlesque outfit, this looks fantastic. i had to change the headband because the one that came with is a little lose but my head is an odd shape anyway. great little hat!

I love this hat!For such a bargain price I'm really surprised it is still in one piece!The only negative point I have is that as it is a headband the hat can slide a little. Although it has never caused any issues.

Bought this for a girls night in with my step-daughter.We were having a Rocky Horror theme and she is the one who asked the question in my headline post.Fabulous little hat, stays in place well and looks amazing

Fantastic hat to just finish off a fancy dress outfit. Arrived well packaged and delivered on time. The hairband is not too tight on an adult as some hairbands can be. I secured it with 2 Kirkby grips just in case.

This was exactly what I needed to perform in...needed to use a few hair grips tp keep it in place and the hat itself is prone to wobble a bit but its fab, bought a second one for a friend too.

I have a very tiny eeny weeny little head so this was a perfect purchase to complete my wedding outfit. I removed the veil and looked quite the picture in my little Mothercare morning suit.
