Wouldn't be good enough were it a knife, but for a prop or a toy with a comb instead of a blade I'm impressed. I feared something so flimsy it would fall apart with normal use in no time flat, but not so. The guard is tin and would be steel with a proper knife. The handle is hard, quite thin plastic and probably quite brittle but because it is supported by the frame of the handle will suffice. There are the normal two buttons. The lock is very tinny and tends to slide "on" and lock which might be awkward if your hair needs an urgent combing but as I'm bald, not a problem. The flick switch is a little better in quality which is probably a good thing.

This comb is a great laugh, When you pretend to get moody to your mate and they just go... WHAT BRUV ILL SHANK YOU UP!!! :P the reaction on their faces when they see the comb.Its really fast at flicking out and feels quite firm and wont fall apart. I use it as my normal comb now.The bristles on the brush are quite long and not too thick, Comfortable to use as a comb.

Never used it I have now shaved my head. Waste of money, should've listened to the wife when she said i'd never use it. It is however good to amaze my one year old daughter with. Press the button and a comb appears she loves it. However she does also talk to brinks in the garden and chews her toes so I guess she can't really be replied on for reliable feedback.

I got this comb for my son. The packaging looks like it is coming from the poundshop, so does look a bit cheap, but the comb itself I guess is not too bad. It can not be used anywhere for safety reasons as it does look like you are taking a knife out of your pocket, but other than that my son seems happy with it. I would not have put more money into it.

I bought this for my husband as a nicely gift but it has become his daily comb ? In fact he loves it so much we bought another one for his dad who uses it all the time. It is a novelty but also a very good quality comb. Recommend to anyone who wants a good comb and a bit of fun ?

I bought this for my partner for a laugh as he's totaly bald but his nick name his flick knife in the darts team we play for he loved it ....He is 74 so it is just joke name....also it does actually work as a comb..pati.p

Bought as a fun style accessory and it is what it is. I would have preferred one that was a little bit better quality even if it cost a little more.Comb arrived very quickly. Brings back happy memories.

Liked this gift alot, was also considering keeping it. Find it amusing keep pressing button to flip it out, nice conditions actually, was expecting a cheap plastic comb but actually was pretty cool.

I've bought three now because everyone wants one. Its well made, tactile, works well as a comb and it everyone wants to fiddle with them.Some products just never stop being funny.

I thought this was a really funny product, but now I have bought it, I am using it practically everyday as a comb.Granted I get the Odd stare hen I get it out of my pocket

Bought one of these from a joke shop over 20 years ago so had to get another, unfortunately the kids love it and use it all the time ( not to be taken in public though )

Very well made from plastic & stainless steel. Good value for money - feels substantial. Comb flicks out really fast, just like a knife! Recommended gag item.

Got it for a joke present for my boyfriend- he loves it! thinks it's hilarious and uses it now as his normal comb, it's pretty durable to be honest :)

This is a fancy dress prop at most, it's not great quality but if you're looking for a cheap flick comb for a costume this is perfect.
