This is the best small world expansion - especially the new races (the new powers are nice but not as imaginative as the new races). The cursed expansion is second best and then grand dames come last in my list (and you get a lot less for your money with grand dames).However, I strongly recommend getting the Small World iPad game - so much quicker and easier to play, no tidying up, and solves the problem of getting some of the rules wrong (I misunderstood the rules for certain races a few times). I have both versions and my family never touches the board game, they just want to get stuck into the iPad game (we have often played in a restaurant while waiting for our food to arrive).

This must be the best, and I would advise First add-on that you need for the Small World Game, Why you may ask... the reason being that it actually comes with a counters tray, that enables you to expand your game further, in fact it also has spare free spaces for all of the Original Small World races and attributes ( may need to re-assign some of them , but they do all fit. This does not include the Underground or realms additions though.But this add-on itself brings a lot more variety to the game and well worth the price.

I really liked this expansion, which includes some very interesting races like Leprechauns and Pygmies. What I found especially happy about was that as an added bonus it comes with a tray that you can use to conveniently store other expansion content such as Grand Dames and Cursed. Game storage is a big thing for me, and having this kind of packaging provided with a game is always a bonus, as it keeps me from having to raid the local craft and scrapbooking stores for suitable containers and storage boxes.

A great expansion for smallworld, would definitely recommend to everyone who likes the original game. It goes well with the 'cursed' expansion too.

Probably the first expansion you should buy! Adds a great mix of new special powers and new races to the game. Ill probably go for "cursed next".

Excellent expansion and came in mint condition, works really well and avoids creating armies that are unbalanced, definitely recommended :)

This is a fantastic addition to the game, if you are a small world fan I would definitely invest in this!
