I purchased this tent for myself and 1 friend to use at Boomtown festival in the UK and there was more than enough space! It was well packaged and very simple to set up compared to other types of tents i have used before. We used it for 4 nights and there was a mixture of rain and sunshine over the weekend. The tent is perfect for all types of weather as we had the doors either side open to keep a breeze blowing through when its hot and sunny, and when it was raining (and it rained hard at times) we managed to fit 14 friends in at one point whilst the rain passed and the sewn in ground sheet ensured we were dry. There was slight residue on the walls of the tent after heavy rain but it wasn't dripping into the tent and the inside bedrooms were always protected anyway. There were vents to stop the build up of condensation and did not let rain in - this also prevented it getting stuffy as we regularly had people coming in. I have been to many festivals and tend to get a new tent each time, but for the first time ever i have pulled my finger out on the Monday morning whilst hanging out my arse and packed this bad boy up and taken it home so i can use it again next time. Cant wait to use it again next year and my friends will be purchasing a couple as well so we can line them up, open the doors and cover them up with a big tarpaulin so we can build a canvas palace at the heart of seshlehem in spangladesh

This is an excellent beginner's tent, suitable for families on a very tight budget or ideal for use at festivals, but probably not a great investment for a large family or for families intending to go on longer or more frequent camping trips. The weight is completely manageable to carry, unlike the 6-person tent that I normally use on family camping trips. This makes it suitable to transport by hand, ie to carry to a festival, in a way that a heavier tent isn't. Overall it's sturdy enough for most weather (barring anything too extreme) and there's space to for two to camp comfortably or for four to bear each other's presence for a few nights. It's not so spacious that you'd want to pack a family of four inside for an extended camping trip though. Not everybody can afford a more spacious, more expensive tent, and importantly not everybody needs something where a family can live and not get on each other's nerves for an extended period of time. BUT, tents have a big environmental impact if theyr'e treated as something to be thrown away after use, so I'd urge buyers to think realistically and only invest in this tent if they feel like it can be reused repeatedly. Otherwise, perhaps invest in a bigger tent?

So myself amd friends were going camping and I needed a new tent. I ordered this one as alot of the reviews were saying this tent can withhold rainfall... And this is correct. I went camping to Loch lommond and their was a yellow warning for rain on the forecast and we stayed dry all night which was the most important thing for me and my 2 kids. It is very spacious and big and the shelter on front and one on the back made it even more convent as we were kept dry while the fire we made kept us warm. Only thing I would change is the rooms inside when I attached it on it kept draping down which gave us less space. Maybe I never done it properly but it really didn't matter as 2 of us could fit comfortably however did wish it was tighter as it would give more space.Other than that though if you are looking for a tent that can keep you dry this is it. The ground sheet if stitched o. That made it even more dry.. And kept the wind out. It was very easy to set up and easy to take down and could do this without it being time consuming. Very practical tent and I would recommend this to anyone who needs a tent for damp weather as even the ground was damp and we had no leaks. Very pleased with it

After much discussion we truly think as a family this is one of the best purchases we've ever made on Amazon. The pricing is on point, the quality is excellent and the design for erecting at least, is on point. As novice campers we bought this tent due in part to the reviews and price. It took me (a complete moron, in fairness) just 15 minutes to set up from scratch on my own. No need to trawl through YouTube for advice; just 4 poles, some pegs and it's up. It truly is fool proof. We managed to squeeze in a single mattress into each 'bedroom' with lots of rooms to spare for other 'stuff' and the central family space easily took a double mattress with masses of space left over. You can more than happily fit a family of four/five...Etc.The poles to create an entrance way are an ingenious idea too, really gives it some personality. Also, it was very easy and quick to drop down and pack away, which would make life significantly easier in bad weather I imagine.I can't wait to get this out again for some true away from home camping, and to get some wet weather experience in it too.Don't hesitate to buy this.

First things first: get the tent with the sewn-in groundsheet - this keeps the wind and bugs out. If you want a retro experience of what it was like camping 30 years ago, then by all means try the version without a sewn-in groundsheet - but you will regret it I can assure you! This Skandika tent is clearly designed for a family on a budget, or as a large festival tent. I think it is very good value and another big plus is that it packs down very small for quite a large tent.Tents are always a pain to set up, and this one is no different but no worse than any other. My top tip is to open the doors and waft the tent to get air into it before threading the poles through - it makes it lot easier and reduces the risk of the poles breaking during setup. When up,the tent is fairly spacious with a decent living area and a handy canopy entrance. It doesn't feel like it will last forever and the quality is not up to an Outwell or Berghaus, but it is perfectly good and offers all the essentials at a low price, mesh doors being the key one.

This is a Great 4 person tent even better for 2 or 3 people. Great value for the money. Sturdy, warm and very easy to set up, very easy to break down and pack away back into the bag.I Cant complain at all, it did a great job. I do wish that the two sleeping compartments on either side could fit adouble blow up bed or even two single blow up beds in each side. Possibly might with a squeeze, but I knew this before hand. As in the diagrams the 2 side rooms do fit 2 single sleeping mats/sleeping bags etc or those single narrow fold up army style camp beds. I reckon that you could fit 1 blow up bed 1 sleeping pad/fold up bed.The middle living are was spacious and the extra poles creating a littleporch was brilliant.Im very happy with the purchase hence 5 stars all round.

This tent is good value for money. It's a fairly good size!! We bought it to camp in the garden with the kids in lockdown. The bedroom walls do slope in at the edges a bit much which makes it quite alkward for space, especially for the person furthest from the bedroom door. I dont know if it would hold up too well in bad weather but for camping trips, in decent weather, it does the job! Nice space in the middle for hot chocolate and cookies as well. Overall, I Recommend it. Marshmallows not included ?

Bloody brilliant little tent! Held up really well during last years stormy weather and even survived a messy music festival in Cornwall! The only downside is the flooring is separate but after the first use I bought a large tarp and used that under the tent and that works well.I found this simple to put up and take down many times by myself and I’m a short woman with no muscle and a terrible memory! I accidentally ripped the bag along the zip so it’s stored in a large waterproof laundry bag!

The tent is really easy to put up and take down and was ideal for camping at a festival with a big group of us.The price was definitely a big selling point initially and so I was prepped for lots of missing parts but low and behold it was all there and WITH PLENTY OF SPARES.There was plenty of communal space and the pods are also spacious. The bag is compact and relatively lightweight (compared to the crates of beer we were carrying #superlad #turbolad).

Easy to carry, easy to erect, protected us well against wind and rain and easy to pack away. If the internal space were a bit higher then it would be a six star rating. We also had a 3m x 3m gazebo on site which served as our cooking and eating space. The tent alone may not have been enough.

This is a good tent. It would have had 5* but the second time it went up we noticed that the bit where the poles stick on to the metal pins had detached from the tent. Other than that its great tent warm, spacious and it with held to a down pour of rain we had. Its a shame that bit had broke

Huge tent and easy to put up. Haven’t used it yet just put it up in the back garden, and can’t wait until the camp sites are open after lockdown. It’s got tonnes of room and I lovE the height. My boys are 6’ 2” and can stand upright in it. Would recommend this tent.

this tent had its first airing in a week of torrential rain..sadly..but it did not leak at all, nor attempt to blow away as our previous tunnel tent would have done..nice amount of space, and very easy to put up..would definitely recommend for a portable tent.

I purchased this tent for my son. Easy to put up, plenty of room in side the tent. The only main problem, was feeding the tent poles through the body of the tent. Perfect weekend tent and cant wait to get away and put it to good use. The children love it.

So pleased with this tent. It’s more spacious than I thought it would be, with cosy sleeping pods each big enough for a double mattress. The sun shades on either side are really useful. Perfect for our family of four including two small kids.
