Bought at season's end for £161 to replace a worn out, 10 year old easycamp awning whose accumulation of minor injuries had grown too large.Only used it once but looking really good so far.Managed to erect this, with the "assistance" of my six year old son. Took a little while to sort out which guy lines go where. There are 2 long lines, one for the top at each end, then two sets of eight, one set of which is longer than the other; so be careful... The two with hooks are for the "flap" that goes over the car to attach with hooks to the supplied suction cups. Whilst there are two poles supplied to make one of the two side doors into a canopy, there are no guylines supplied for it. I ordered, separately, four additional guylines, two of which I used on the flap, the other two will be used on one door and the two with hooks on the other side door along with the poles from the easycamp so that we can have both as canopies. The four sets of poles go into the sleeves of the awning as easily as other awnings although securing them with the pins at each end was a little awkward - there are "buckles" on each of the straps that the pins are secured to that allow the straps to be lengthened which helps. Once up, given that it was quite a calm day, it was easy enough to peg the lines out and the base down - lots of tabs to peg down all round the base too.The "hinged" door is novel and has the only window that can be opened from within the awning - the other three windows consist of a plastic lower section and a mosquito net upper section. The cover for each of these is on the outside and can be secured down with a zip on each side - but not across the bottom, the bottom being sufficiently below the netting to avoid rain coming in. The absence of a zip across the bottom also means that these three windows supply more than adequate ventilation without causing draughts - a real boon given that the groundsheet is sewn in too. At each end of the long side (the one without the doors) there is a zipped section at the bottom of the wall to allow a hook up cable to enter - or for the gas pipe for a stove. Each window cover can also be rolled up (there are tab and "pin" like attachments to do this half way up the cover) to open the transparent section whilst leaving the netting part covered - useful if it rains, I would think. The bottom of each window cover also has tabs that would allow a guyline to be attached to keep them open but shaded - I'll need to get six more lines! Had the window covers been on the inside, the netting parts would allow rain in.We didn't try the inner tents as we slept in the bus but the securing points in the roof look to be strong and the attachment points in the floor do too - these latter indicate that when both are in use there would still be more than half of the floor area available for seating and for any kitchen arrangements. We had a three way fridge (similar in size to a large cool box) a table unit with a 2 burner stove on top and a square aluminium table along the long side and still had almost 2/3 of the full length unused. We also had another table, 4 chairs and a cool box in there in an attempt to make it look less empty... Think Nissan hut, but larger - had the end doorway been wider, we could put the car in it!The two side doors and the door to the bus all have separately "zipp-able" mosquito nets too. The two side doors have tabs at the bottom allowing you to pin them down with tent pegs - probably useful on a windy and rainy day.The section that goes over the roof of the bus is quite long but the two side sections that cover the space between the awning and the car are disappointingly short meaning that a sliding door on your car/van/bus may not be entirely within the short "tunnel" when opened - this is the only disappointing bit with this awning. More of a covered way to the car than a windproof tunnel.Regarding the comment concerning leaks, we didn't have any leaks during the couple of showers over the night of use but we did have a little condensation late in the evening (but no puddles in the morning) - probably due to using a convection heater on an October night... All seams were neatly stitched,I anticipate that the awning will offer lots of space for sitting, chilling, cooking and eating and lots of room for talking nonsense with friends late into the night.... In fact, that much room, we expected an echo.An excellent buy, especially given the end of season price cut.

This is one gigantic tent! Truth be told it's far too big for just my partner & I, but when his kids visit and we head off to festivals it will be a blessing. They can have a bedroom pod each but with full privacy and there will still be plenty of floor space to cook, eat and hang out.If it is just the two of us and we go anywhere longer than a few days, it will also be handy to set this up as cooking & living space and then just nip the van out when we want to go off exploring without having to pack everything up again. The bedroom pods aren't fitted so if the kids aren't with us, we don't need to put them up which gives us lots of room for having friends round of the weather turns grotty. The campervan flap is ideal, there are two guys ropes included that you just tie off to the corners and either peg down or tie to your van.Personally I prefer tents without built in ground sheets as I find them easier to keep clean when camping. However it seems I'm in the minority as a lot of my camping girl friends prefer this style as it keeps the bugs and grubs out. Gents, bear that in mind if you're trying to convince your good lady to get into camping! We only spent one night in the tent and whilst it was really windy we didn't get any rain so can't comment on the waterproofing issues that the other reviewer got. We are away again this Easter and if we do have a problem I will be sure to come back and update this review or leave a fresh one.I did find that I needed to peg down the middle door (the one on the side of the tunnel) as the wind wanted to keep opening it up. If it had of rained that no doubt would have let some water in, but by pegging it down there was no problem (actually I'm now wondering if I didn't peg the whole tent down tight enough when it was first put up - again I will come back and update after spending a long weekend in it if I have any other thoughts).Between my partner & I we have 8 tents (I know, I know) we LOVE camping and get out as often as we can. Now I've bought a VW T4 I like the idea of being able to extend our (cramped) van space by just throwing up this beast. For stays of a few nights or more, this will be ideal.Looking forward to a long hot summer now to make the most of the van and the tent!*I was offered this product for free in exchange for an honest Amazon and website review. All thoughts are my own, and if it were pants, I would definitely say!

What an amazing tent ! It is made from really good material, the stitching is very high standard. The supplied oles lines, pegs are good, but i would recommend some strong/harder pegs as well. For my small garden/soil the supplied pegs are fine. The tent packed away in its bag and is easy to take out in its components. i.e rods are elasticated, with practice, it gets easier to put together.I assembled the tent on my own - it was hard work, and took about 3 hours in my first attempt. I think with practice I would get better/quicker.Getting the tent up the first time, i.e lifting the poles, was hard work, but doable on my own. It was very satisifying to t upright tho!Once upright, getting the internal sleeping compaments in was easy, there is so much room to move around, the internal tents just hook up - it took me a few times to move them around, but they are really good design with two internal doors. Visability into the sleeping compaments was great, i.e. people cant see in !With all the awnings out and the doors open, this tent is huge, attached to a mazda bongo it will provide a fantastic bongo-camping experience !

With so many tents on the market It was a hard choice to make . But once purchased I knew I had made the right choice . Easy to erect very spacious and made well . Inner pods are ideal as if you don't need both you have plenty of room for a table set plus kitchen. 10 out 10 from me
