Longer review, because there is nothing. I have tested this C.A. two months i.c.m with rcp road shoes and regular shoes. The click system works great, but provides it with real racing shoes without rubber but plastic substrate 0 real grip, which is dangerous. So inclicken is the only option, which makes cycling with this combo pedal laboriously by rcp road shoe for example. MTB shoe probably works better, but have not tested this. Ordinary shoes work well. Make sure you have thick sole or you feel the increase in the click system, I personally find this annoying but not know it. Grip is OK, not great. Furthermore, you have to properly clean otherwise rust away.

shipped within 24 hours. super. the pedals themselves are great and have transformed my former mountain bike into a better, quicker commuter bike. the profile of the actual clips on the pedals, for which you therefore need special shoes with cleats (obviously...) can also be used reasonably well on short hops with normal shoes. in other words - with these larger pedals (unlike specialised road / racing versions) can still be used on short trips without going whole hog always with the proper cycling shoes. also - the cleat mechanism is dual sided so - agaun for commuting when you are coming in / out all the time at lights - you have less fiddle re-clipping in. perfect.

These are essentially Shimanos all mountain / trail spd (clipless) pedal. They're robust, durable, almost maintenance free and amongst the easiest spd pedal to clip into and out of due to the hinged body.Works well with all spd shoes, from experience very well with Shimanos AM 45 clipless spd shoe. Which incidentally is available at the moment for a very reasonable £54 at CRC and Wiggle, for example.I rate these above xt/xtr trail clipless pedals enough to buy two pairs for the two mtb bikes I have.

Since it is my first Klickpedal, I was a shoe / pedal combination very important. In case of need, you can also quickly unclog and use the pedal without a snap-in function. In the meantime, I have been to Matschwetter many times and a large cleaning was always required. The material is perfect as on the first day. In all, I am totally enthusiastic and have a completely new (great) driving feeling.

Unrivaled in terms of price performance in the click pedal segment. Shoes Clicken pleasant tight. Good freedom of movement in the clicked state. Pedals is stable thanks to hard plastic cage and relatively light. I've been driving the Shimano pedals for 15 years and I've put my good old DX on my 2-bike. The things just do not break!

Super practical, price also fair. I have the pedal twice. Unfortunately, a set had to return, after 150 km of play in the camp. Hopefully a single case. Unfortunately, Brügelmann does not exchange, but I have received the purchase price back and must now order a new pedal

Really a super pedal for the price class. Finding the regulation for the click out something "rough" but since I eh only on the lightest level drive, it fits me very well. By the way, I do not unintentionally click the lightest level, as with other pedals.

Very good product. Use shoes with stiffer soles, otherwise the clip is disturbing. My son uses them every day with normal shoes, as well as for training and competitions with the SPDs. And these have been going perfectly hand in hand for six months now.

At the time I decided for this pedal, because it allows me to drive safely with some twisted downhill passages. Still drive my first pair from 2005. Has survived 7 Alpencrosos perfectly.

Perfect for trails and rugged terrain. Good "flat" when using sneakers. Would recommend shoes with a slightly stiffer sole, if one does not use MTB shoes.

An extremely reliable and very sturdy pedal that works perfectly even after several hard rocking contacts. Always my first choice !!

The pedals I have been driving for over 20 years - like the previous model M646 are the parts Super robust and work perfectly.

Great Item easy clip in either side, find it a little hard on the feet if not wearing the clip in shoes when riding.

For this price a really good pedal in the usual good Shimano quality. Processing prima! Weight in order.
