The first thing to know about this pedal: As a platform pedal it is small. I mounted it in my commuter bike, which I use daily with shoes and on the weekends wanted to use with cycling shoes. Used it 1-2 days but I didnt like the feeling, they are small and narrow for normal shoes, my feet felt not held on the sides, it was weird.My main problem with automatic pedals is to start pedalling correctly due to the difficulty to clip my 2nd foot. With this pedals that is not a problem, as you will use the platform side for a bit until you are free to turn it around and clip your foot carefully. The automatic side is heavier than the platform, so the pedal tends to show the platform side looking up.

Very solid feel, all metal, no free play. Balance slightly biased to settle vertical flat forward making either side quickly accessible but not so loose as to spin uncontrolled. Included with pedals, cleats with countersunk screws and grub screw studs preloaded with thread lock. Slightly smaller than oem flats but ample area to find and use with confidence. Clip side didn't require any adjustment, holds firm and releases confidently with a swivel of your heel.Fitted to sram crank with no issues.

I'm still a little uncertain on the bike, especially when I'm on a technical section. These are perfect for me as I can un-clip and then select the flat side of the pedal until I reach a flat section again so that I can clip in again. These are really smooth and the clip can be adjusted so that it's easier to get your feet off in an emergency.

Fantastic pedals, really like little screws in pedal side which stops shoes slipping. Also like fact you can grease/change bearings. Theses should last long time

They work perfectly with my SH-51 cleats. I use both sides for mountain biking and they're just what I needed: adjustable, resistant, metal pedals.

Easy in and out of clip side. I like the fact that I can use clips or standard pedal. Well constructed.
