I normally wouldn’t generally consider ordering celebrity fragrances, especially when I’m not a particular fan of the celebrity who is endorsing/selling/the face of the fragrance/fragrance line.However, I ordered this Eau De Parfum after reading the description of the scent, and realising that the notes in it are notes that I would generally choose in a fragrance.The packaging itself with the outer box is pretty much just a photo of Shawn Mendes on one side, with the title of the fragrance on the other. I just discarded the box as it has no relevance to me. The bottle itself however is nice. It’s a blue glass bottle with a fairly intricately roped copper lid. The brand name is embossed into the front of the bottle,not being too obvious unless looking closely.The scent itself is lovely- it starts as an upbeat fruity scent with notes of pineapple, red apple, and lemon, which melts into a sweet heart of frangipani, maple sap, and rose, and finally winds down to a base of nice musk, dulce de leche, and cedar after an hour or 2.The longevity is pretty great- I could still smell the scent strongly after about 5 hours, which I do consider to be really good for an Eau De Parfum with such a cheap price point.The silage is wonderful also- for example I sprayed the scent on myself for the first time one morning in my kitchen (just where I happened to leave the fragrance) and went shopping to return several hours later -and upon walking through my door and the fragrance was the first thing that I could smell upon entering the kitchen.I’d say this scent is actually perfect for anybody from aged teenage up. You can’t really go wrong with a scent that begins fairly tropical and ends with a smooth musk.I’d say this fragrance is very feminine, and is best worn late afternoon/early evening as an evening scent. It’s so powerful and heady that I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it as a daytime fragrance, but then we all have our preferences on how subtle we like a daytime scent to be, and I prefer something a little less heavy.It is perfect for the evening though. I especially think it’s lovely as a summer fragrance. It has enough of a tropical mix of scents that it’s perfect for the summer months, especially whilst on holiday.It’s such a lovely sweet yet musky scent that I think it would be a lovely gift idea for females aged 12 plus. It’s something that I would gift to my daughter as a fragrance, but then it’s also mature enough that at 34 I will wear it myself quite happily.

I opened the 'Shawn Mendes Signature Eau de Parfum Spray for Women and Men, 30ml' - firstly the cellophane wrapping then removed the bottle from its nice turquoise/silver box. The bottle is an attractive aqua glass with a copper like industrial look top. Unlike the photos on the product's Amazon page, my bottle did not have the upside down tear drop initialled tag dangling from the top. I tried to get the top off the bottle but had great difficulty. I tried to unscrew - nothing, then tried pulling and in the end it pulled off but part of the squirter assembly was still stuck inside the top. It also seemed to be leaking slightly, with tiny beads of liquid around the top of the glass bottle.I tried to get the stuck part out of the top, with tweezers but it still did not budge - unscrew or pull out. However, I pushed the top back in place, which was a tough job. Then on pulling it off again, the stuck part ended up back on the bottle, where it should be and on shaking it now does not seem to be leaking. At least that is all fixed - a design flaw or just my bottle??Anyway, the perfume's aroma; the most important part. I would say that it is definitely suitable for both women and men, as it suggests. It is not too sweet for men or too musky and not cologne'y for women. On first applying, there are some sweetish top notes but it is well balanced with the lower notes and has got quite a depth to it. When I have been wearing it for a while the higher notes disappear into the background, leaving the mellow medium and lower notes - I really like it. I cannot pick out any one ingredient individually but they have blended it well. There is not anything to dislike about this fragrance for a daytime spritz, in my opinion and the 30ml is a nice size bottle to keep in your bag. It has got a longevity on my skin, - it is not one of those sprays that you apply, then it needs to be reapplied again soon afterwards. I think it is good price at £11.50 for the 30ml bottle, as it is an eau de parfum which has a higher concentration of perfume oils than an eau de toilette.

Even though I would describe this as a young fragrance it would be lovely on all ages of women and men. By young I mean it inspires thoughts of spring and early summer with a freshness that moves into a warmness the longer you wear it. It is vanilla with coffee tones and an air of pineapple, a warm sweet amber smell comes through when it has been on your skin for a while and it warms up. It is quite unusual and unique in some ways, if you wear this you will get asked what it is because it doesn't smell like most perfumes out there. It lasts for a while and I could smell it two hours after putting it on.The bottle is that green glass tone you see a lot in summer gardens and glassware at summer parties.The cap and spray are copper coloured and the contrast goes well together. It would make a lovely gift and I think anyone would be pleased to receive this, whether or not you are a fan of Shawn. Of course a fan would absolutely love this, but the fragrance itself is so good that it can stand alone as a perfume and not just because of brand.There was no plectrum on the bottle I received but I didn't miss it. Some fans might but the fragrance is so good you will still want this. ideal for birthdays or Christmas and small enough to carry around in your bag as well! Both men and women I asked about this said they liked the smell of this and they were aged from teens to 60s! I will be using this a lot!

I had to explain to my wife who Shawn Mendes was (I suggested the inaccurate parallel “modern version of Ricky Martin”). I doubted whether she would like a cheap unisex perfume like this, aimed at the youth market.I was wrong – she loved it, see below. (As far as I could tell, it was OK, but I have a notoriously poor sense of smell, currently weakened by a heavy cold,) She felt it was excellent value at the current offer of half-price,“I prefer heavier and musky perfumes, and this hits the mark perfectly. It is a solid-smelling fragrance, and it packs a punch when you first apply it.For me the initial hit is the muskiness of it, and then it fades after a few hours to a beautiful fragrant aroma,but still with the muskiness. I could not identify all of the ingredients, but combined they make a beautiful fragrance. I wonder how sugar maple accord smells, but I recognize some of the others particularly the skin musk which gives the EDT a clean smell.My husband likes it too; considering he currently has a cold and his sense of smell is poor” [told you so] “he could smell this just fine.I really like the bottle, not too big to put in your handbag, and the bronze-coloured rope/thread detail around the cap is very distinctive.This could be for men, women or those yet undecided.”

I am very impressed by this unisex scent (eau de parfum), which comes in a small 30ml bottle. The outer cardboard packaging features images of the singer himself, and opens up to reveal a stylish bottle, with green-tinged glass and a rose-gold cap which appears to be surrounded by colour matching hair bands.The scent itself is very pleasant: certainly distinctive, without leaning noticeably towards more traditionally male or female scents. It’s not easy to describe, but I would say it’s quite fruity, woody, and sweet. From the product description I could detect apple and lemon oil. I did receive compliments on the scent from trusted family and friends!I wore a small amount on my wrists and neck for a few days,and noticed that the scent lasted well into the afternoon. This is reassuring and suggests that even a small bottle will go a long way.With scent it is of course a good idea to try before you buy, even if you are buying this as a gift for a devoted Shawn Mendes fan. That said, they will not be disappointed by this distinctive and truly unisex scent.

I was quite stunned by the price point of this unisex scent, for the size of bottle and the look I frankly thought it wouldn’t be up to much.It arrived nicely packaged and looks like quite a high end scent once the bottle has been removed from the box, I don’t like box at all if I’m being honest.I wouldn’t spray this anywhere near my face, I always use back of legs or lower back. As the warmth of your body heats this scent it gets stronger and stronger so near the nose it could become sickly. It has a very pleasant sweet smell, you definitely get a smell of citrus when you first spray but as it settles it has a lovely subtle sweet smell.I like it. Is it unisex, well my son tried it and he likes it,although like me he wouldn’t put on his upper torso.A very good scent I think, the price point is amazing for the quality of the scent and the longevity, I was still getting whiffs after eight hours, and may I say a couple of compliments. Worth a try I think.

Not a hardcore Sean Mendes fan so reviewing this purely on the fragrance which I really liked. It has a real sweetness to it without being floral. In my opinion the hint of woodiness gives it a more masculine scent although certainly still suitable for men or women. It really reminds me of a scent Kylie Minogue did for men called Inverse which had a similar sweet but woody smell to it. The 30ml size has “Shawn Mendes” embedded on the bottle while the top has what looks like a guitar string wrapped all the way around it. Simple but smart looking bottle. I felt this was more of a ‘going out’ scent and I am more inclined to wear it on a night out rather than every day use. It has a very elegant,slightly sensual smell to it but I didn’t feel it lingered around for long. The smell had faded after 2-3 hours. Very reasonably priced and I would say in line with the fragrances Zara do in their stores in terms of quality and value.

This is a fantastic fragrance. For any sex, it starts off with a pineapple/apple punch which dies down quickly to a woody/fruity musk.IMO the opening notes are what make this a class above the usual celebrity fragrances unfortunately it’s not long lasting, so I’d suggest buying a mini atomiser for throughout the day.Spraying it up into the air then walking through it or spraying directly onto a scarf or T-Shirt as well as the usual pulse points helps it linger. SM also does a large Body Spray which is great value and almost as ‘strong’ as this EDT.SM II I don’t rate at all, very generic sporty that goes into the same base notes as this.If you’re looking for something a bit different try this :)

This 30ml bottle of perfume comes neatly boxed. The bottle is simple, with just the name embossed on the front and a pretty, copper coloured lid. It has coils around it and gives it just that individual touch which makes it a little special.The perfume is in a spray bottle. I would agree that it is suitable for both men and women. It is not overly strong, but has a rich, warm scent, and was immediately appropriated by my twelve year old daughter. She says she likes the scent, as it is pretty and she loves the bottle. I do think both the packaging and perfume are nice, but the packaging is a little more male-orientated, in my opinion, than neutral.

I have to say I was initially sceptical about a scent that was said to be suitable for both men and woman but surprisingly it really is very neutral and genuinely would be suitable for both!! Not too girly and not too manly, it's quite fresh and a nice, everyday fragrance for any fan!It's presented well in a cool turquoise box, the bottles is turquoise too with a rustic lid and both myself and my Partner like it. It doesn't last as well as our more expensive scents but for currently £9.99 you cant complain! Definitely saves space on the bathroom shelf as myself and Partner can share this!Recommended, great value and great scent.

Despite the distinctly "fruity" top tones of the Eau De Parfum, I really like this. The outer box is a bit basic and unattractive, but the bottle is a nice design, with a cord effect would around the lid. Buyers should note there was no plectrum with logo around the neck of my bottle, which was a little disappointing. I like the fragrance, and so do several of my male friends, and it last well too. This product is also aimed at ladies, so if you are a man wearing it, expect to be complimented!! I like it a lot, but do take issue with photographs of a product that differ from the item you actually receive.

This Shawn Mendes is a parfum spray and can be used for men and women.It states that it's made up from:-Top notes: Lemon oil, pineapple, mcintosh appleMiddle notes: frangipani, sugar maple accord, rose petalsBase notes: dulce de leche, white cedar, skin muskAuthentic. Passionate. ConfidentWhen you open the bottle you get a wonderfully fruity scent. You can smell the apple and pineapple straight away.Daughter tried one spritz on her wrist and rub together gently. This one spritz lasted all day and through a shower.As daughter said, boy has done good in having this made.

I was surprised at just how much I like this Shawn Mendes Signature Eau de Parfum Spray.As an older male, I would not normally go for a 'parfum' designed for Women and Men but there you go.Perfumes are a matter of taste and they do tend to smell differently on the skins of different people.But the makers' description high notes and all explain the scent far better than I.The presentation is great, no plectrum as expected but the roled copper wire top that you pull off together with the old green glass look is great.Wear and enjoy.

This is a lovely bottle - with a copper wired lid giving it a classy appearance -Spraying it opens with notes of peach, fruit and candy and then settles down to a fruity floral scent which is ideal for summerIt lingers nicely and has very nice longevity - in my experience it is nice on many types of skin.This isn’t ‘unisex’ it’s a very feminine scent and if you’re a bloke I’d suggest you look elsewhereOverall a lovely feminine scent

This is a small 30ml bottle of Perfume. Says suitable for men or ladies. Has a pleasant fragrance, flowers, vanilla etc. A little stronger than I had expected. Which is good as the bottle will last longer. Personally think this is a fragrance for ladies rather than men. The bottle is itself a copper green colour. I struggled a little opening to top. But got there.Good pleasing fragrance. Excellent quality.
