I owned a pair of these many years ago as a teenager. One cold and miserable Saturday morning I laced up my boots and made my way out on to the pitch wearing the gloves. All was well: my hands were warm and I was playing well.It was a tight match that either team could win and with ten minutes to go the ball rolled out of play around a third of the way into our side of the pitch. I jogged over and picked the ball up. I had quite a good throw, so stepped back and ran forward to throw it long.That's when it happened. As I launched my arms forward from behind my head, the ball fell from my grip and lazily fell to the ground about a three yards on to the pitch.

These were the cheapest Puma gloves I could find. They look good but the materials feel quite cheap and they are not very warm or windproof.
