These are some of the best liquid ink pens and I like them similarly to the uni-ball eye pens. I prefer the needlepoint design of these and the tip is therefore slightly smaller and I prefer writing with these for that reason. The inflow is fairly even and it doesn't 'blob' at all. but it sometimes goes slightly less consistent when you use it on skin and surfaces other than paper, but it works perfectly if you stick to paper. The black design also looks great. When I switch back to 'normal' pens, I see a huge difference and much prefer these liquid ink, especially Pilots Overall, these are really great and can be found at an excellent price. Highly recommended.

I'm a BA Architecture student, and after experimenting and discovering pens for two years, I have settled on these beauties. I'm a big fan of ball-head pens, and these do the job excellently. Smooth, slick and crisp lines. Very little bleeding. Good weight and balance in my grip.There is a 0.5mm tip version too, the V-Ball 0.5. If you find the 0.7 is too thick, I would also highly recommend the smaller version.Overall, excellent. I will use these indefinitely!UPDATE JANUARY 2017: Still using this brand of pens for all my drawing work. They're excellent!

Pilot are one of my favourite stationery providers and always produce good stuff!This VBall 05 pen is a great little assett to any office or home. It is lightweight, balanced, smooth and writes beautifully (in the right hand of course).A good price for a pack of 12!

I like the feel a good pen writes; it doesn't have to be an expensive pen (some expensive pens I've used are horrible), but the feel of ink flowing well makes writing - and the associated thought process - somehow easier for me. These pens are great for that.

Superb quality of ink, smooth to write with and always deliver an even flow of ink. I particularly like the fact that the 0.7 are slightly thicker than the average rollerball so writing always looks strong and clear.

I use and have used Pilot V-Ball 0.7 ever since I first discovered it. Have one in every room as am always in a hurry. The pen almost writes by itself and keeps pace with my hurried thoughts. ITS GREAT!!

These pens are reliable and last longer than others I have bought before. My kids prefer these and say they last longer. So, overall they were more cost effective and of good quality.

I love the smooth silkiness of the delivery of ink from this pen. Its a joy to write with and inspires some of my best work. Thank you very much Pilot for a top notch product

I have searched for many years for a medium tipped smooth writing black pen that brings out the expresssion of hand written notes - this pen is the best there is.

I try other pens but this is the one i alwasy go back to. Colleagues who "borrow" it from me never seem to return it! Excellent product

The pen I have used for 12 years, one BA (Hons) and one MA. If they stop making them I'll be bereft, so I get them a dozen at a time.

Easy to write with, nice to hold and just generally really nice pens. Can definitely recommend them (also a nice number in the box)

Great to right with although can smudge, make all the difference n a writing test because you arm doesn't get tired! Smooth write.

Such brilliant pens to write neatly with for a long time. Good value for money. My daughter is using these for all her GSCE's!
