Okay I do like the idea of erasable pens because no matter how much thought I put into it, I always write with mistakes! The erase does work, but it does tend to leave a faint trace or a shadow of the words I tried to erase off. Not that noticeable unless one really scrutinised the paper. I also found that waiting half a minute for the ink to dry before erasing off mistakes produces a better result. The sooner I erase after I have just written something with the pen, the more likely it will be that a faint shadow of the mistake will be left on the paper even after I have tried erasing the same area a few times. Oh and the eraser bit is quite hard so if erasing too vigorously, can cause paper to tear or leave an indentation on the paper. So it's not perfect, but I still like this. Good for filling in official forms, handwriting personal letters etc. without the need for unsightly cancellations.Another thing is the black colour of the pen isn't really a true black. More like a very dark graphite black colour, but that doesn't bother me.

These are great pens for school kids, and they are very popular in my child's class as they can erase their mistakes cleanly. There are no 'bits' like a normal eraser as it's merely the heat generated by friction that makes the ink magically disappear.A couple of caveats though:- The refills don't last very long and it could end up quite expensive if writing a lot of long essays- Heat (more than 60 celsius or so) will also make the ink disappear, so there might be a small risk of losing text e.g. if left near a hot stove or heater. I tested this by holding an entire page of text some way above a stove and watching all the ink disappear.I've read that ink can be partially restored by freezing.

I got one of these pens with a Rocketbook notebook. Previously I have been using the friction pens with lids. It took me some time to work out how to click the pen, it uses the clip as the clicker rather than the end of the pen (which is the eraser in this case). I don't know how long it will take me to get used to this and to the rattle which others have remarked on. I think I prefer the ones with separate lids but this has the advantage that the lid cannot be lost. Success with erasing depends on the material are writing on; it works perfectly with the Rocketbook but didn't so well with a paper notebook.

I use these during classes, and mainly during exams that are mandatory to be written in ink, so I can erase any mistake.Sometimes, the eraser bit can smudge a little, and to erase big portions of text I just hit the paper with a lighter flame and it instantly disappears. I also found out it reappears if the paper is placed in the freezer (nice way of playing secret message with kids...).My only drawback is how fast the ink ends: on a busy period, I am switching cartridges every week!Fortunately, there are refills available.

Blown away by customer service. I sent a message yesterday afternoon to chase up delivery of this pen set and it arrived by 11am today! I've been using the Frixon pens for a while but with the first type available it's inconvenient having to take the top off to erase something. When I came across this model I was happy because I'll be able to click to use the pen, but then swing it around to erase and back again - it's going to make writing easier - and already comes with replacement inks - perfect!

I've had this pen for months now and haven't had to replace the ink in it yet! This is my favourite pen to write with, mainly because it's erasable but it's also just a great pen. It's a bit inky so if you're left handed it may be a bit of an issue but I found it dries down quite quickly, I've yet to smudge the ink beyond repair. This pen comes with a few extra ink refills and you can purchase the refills separately so I think it's great value for money. My all time favourite pen!

It's a brilliant pen to have and (mostly) use. For me, it doesn't quite have the same traction that I find when using other pens. But apart from that, it works just great. ;)I've got a lot of note taking to do, but I often make mistakes. I can't stand making mistakes, as I like to keep things looking well presented and because of this, I often find myself tearing out another page. So, having this will help me to cut down on unnecessary waste. ;)

Good pen for erasing mistakes with added advantage of no lid so you do not loose the eraser. The eraser is solid so keeps its form after many uses. Only downside is that this brand is expensive. I would love to see the prices become more affordable. Ink appears to last longer than the "non-clicker" versions (in my opinion - not tested it properly).

Great pen, I purchased this as my friend left his here and I had been using it, nice smooth flow, the rubber works great and it feels nice in the hand unfortunately two days later my friend returned and one of the first things he said was ' have you got my pen?' so I had to return it thus pen envy made me purchase this and now I have my own :)

Brilliabt product. The Clicker style of the Pilot Frixion Range of Erasable Pens are perfect for larger planners and letters due to the regular size pen point of 0.7 mm. Perfect for normal hand writting on plain paper or office proforma. Mistakes are easily removed with no trace.Highly recommend this product to any busy office worker.

I use these in my bullet journal, because I don't like leaving mistakes and I often have to move things around if I have a bad day (I have Severe ME) and cannot get to things I had planned to do on certain times. This makes the planning experience so much more flexible! They write smoothly and evenly. The refills work perfectly.

I love this, to the point where I keep it on me all the time :) plus it's a really nice trick that I can use a page for maths notes, then to erase the page just heat it up and the words disappear and you can reuse the paper! Saves so much on paper costs too, no more crumpling up notes when you go on to the next question! :)

Purchased this for myself, so impressed, purchased another for young grandson so he can get the feel of a pen, (not a biro) and of course he can correct his mistakes with ease, as I do, many times. Understandably most things are done on screen but still very important a child can write.

Received first day estimated delivery date.Does what it says in the advertisement. Royal Mail delivered in good sealed condition. All worked. Pen click on front doubles as clip on top shirt pocket etc. Solid parts. Only writes like ink pens on flat surfaces not in upright position.
