Writing anything by hand is a challenge due to a hand injury sustained during my late teens and using these pens rather than a ballpoint makes life so much easier. The reason for this is down to how easily the ink flows from the pen tip, which in my case means I don’t need to worry about the pressure I put on the pen. Although it cannot improve the neatness of my writing, it sure makes it easier to put those words to paper which has always been a struggle with most ballpoints. Another great point to mention about these pens is that you can frequently leave the cap off the pen for many days without the tip drying out. Well worth the money I paid.UPDATE: Been using these pens for years now and wouldn’t use any other.

"All-in-One logistics" clearly advertised these Pentel R50s at £3.48 for a pack of 12 ... yes, twelve. It struck me as a good deal but then again, we're accustomed to good deals thru Amazon.I received only one (1) pen. Brought this to their attention but they said it was a "pricing error". I maintained that I had a statutory right to receive that which I had ordered from that which they clearly advertised. They absolutely failed to honour their commitment. They credited the £3.48 which nothing but was cold comfort. Can buy one one the High Street for less money.This Company, by acting in the poor way that it did, has lost, among other things, much customer goodwill.

I have to say I love these pens, fondly remembered from school (where all the little coloured tabs were quickly removed and chewed up), and whilst they don't have the impact (or cost) of a nice stylish MontBlanc or others, they're incredibly retro, are an absolute joy to write with, nice and soft with a reasonably thick line, and are relatively long lasting.I can't keep these at the office as they go missing... a lot, so have had to stick to bic biros for work.If you want something a little more professional looking, Pentel also do a 'sterling executive' rollerball which performs the same, but looks a bit nicer!

As a legacy of an old injury, I find it very difficult it to write by hand. These particular pens are just the right size for comfort and the smooth action of the roller ball reduces the strain on the damaged tendons and ligaments. They are the only type of pen I have been able to find that enable me to write by hand for more than a few minutes of pain-free writing.

The product is fab and they are the only pens I use. However I ordered 3 boxes and my parcel was damaged and only 2 boxes were inside. I have tried to contact Amazon via phone and have used the live chat but there is no box to tick for this and all I get on missing items is a collection and refund. All I want is the missing box. HELP

I have searched high and low for these pens and have actually found the pens cheaper but then discovered the delivery charge to be more than the actual product!These are brilliant colour and very comfortable to use - am teacher and they are my favourite marking pens. Also last longer than gel or other non-biro types.

I bought these for my elderly mum as she said all her pens had disappeared! I thought these where her usual pens (she lives over a hundred miles away and shielding so I can’t see her and check what the pens she liked are) turns out she’s given them away to her carers who said they are good pens. Every cloud...

These pens are just what everyday tools are about that are inexpensive and work well. I Have used these for years and found them good value.When the ball finally 'pops out' just throw it away and get another one. They're cheap enough to buy by the boxful so no problem. Keep a box of 12 in your office.

Good, solid, value pens.I use numerous pens and needed good value pens that worked well and would not pack in at the wrong moment. These work well and the ink lasts a relatively long time.I am making repeat orders, says it all.

Marvellous reliable pens that you can rely on. Fantastic in the office or to keep in the handbag. I only ordered late Thursday 6th February and it was delivered Saturday morning 8th February. Well done - I am delighted. Thanks

I like these pens - they got delivered OK, all within the box accounted for and working. Box was a bit crumpled but I can't say if that was through the post or from the warehouse. Didn't effect the product inside though.

No magic involved but these pens are classics. They write and draw very well with a deep ink colour and the line is variable according to your pressure. There's a fine brush-like quality to them. Good stuff!

One of the finest pens ever made ........ I used them in the 70s for graphics, etc and have used them ever since ...... I struggled for years to find a recent supplier but I am a happy scribbler again :)

Received the 2 dozen pens within 48 hours. Unfortunately the first pen lost its roller ball within five minutes of use. But I like using them when ever I don't use a proper fountain pen.

A trip back down memory lane for not much more than 50p per pen. Takes you straight back to the late 70s when these pens started to appear. Great value for money, all things considered.
