Paleontological accuracyIf you want a scary mean looking dinosaur based on the (inaccurate) Jurassic Park movie then this is the model for you, if you're after a model based on science then stay clear.If your bothered... the arms are way way too long and orientated incorrectly, the skull is littered with inaccuracies and the teeth are too few and arranged in a jumbled mess; not neat rows.As a model or a toyWhile not accurate to science; it's defiantly scarier and meaner looking. It's slightly larger than the "standard" 1:40 scale typical of other dinosaurs in the Schlicich / Safari / Collecta ranges making this beastie look all the more terrifying.If you're into re-painting then a little colour (possibly red)

My wife looked it over and asked me how much I'd paid for it. I was very happy to tell her, and her response was "Really? Wow!" (£17.04) The structure and detail in the modeling and paintwork is extremely satisfying. I bought it as reference for some artwork, and it provides everything I wanted. The jaw opens and closes, and they've included the cheek skin exposed when the mouth is open, along with a thoroughly convincing tongue. I can go ahead and nit pick: the angle of the impression of the ribs under the skin is a little bit off to my eye, but the angle they have chosen and some skin swags they've crafted work together in an aesthetically pleasing manner. They've gone for musclar arms and developed pectorals,

Papo make some of the best dinosaur models around and this one is no expecption. The green colouring is subtle (unlike a similar Schleich model I have) and you'd think this had stepped directly out of Jurassic Park. The moveable jaw gives a good view of the sharp pointy teeth and the eyes are well-painted. I really like the action pose they've given it, but do be aware that as its hind legs are set to look like its running, that rearmost leg is only supporting the model on tippy toes, which means tis a tad unstable. Falls over a lot in fact, a slight breeze in the room and I turned to see T Rex had wiped out two velociraptors, a pterasaur and my clock from the shelf below.

I saw this and have always been fasicnated with dinosaurs. And Tyrannosaurus Rex has always been one of my favourite dinosaurs ever since watching Jurassic Park. I bought this and was not dissappointed. It is such a highly detailed model, more of a collectible rather than a toy. The paint job and the amount of detail on this figure is astonishing. The colour and shape is similar to the Jurassic Park T-Rex, whilst the jaws are similar to the V-Rex in King Kong. I highly recommend this T-rex to any dinosaur enthusiast as its well priced and looks maginificent on display. This is another amazing work from Papo.

There are so many amazing things about this prduct, The details are out of this world! the design is magnificant. Many would think that this is the T-Rex from Jurassic Park; which in some ways it really is! but it's mainly got the features from the one from King Kong. If you look closely at the teeth you will know what i am talking about.The only issue that I can think about this, is the fact that it can have trouble standing up, but thats to be expected.If you love your Dinosaurs, Then papo is the most realistic you are going to get!Do prefer the normal sitting rex though ;)

Wow! I bought this along with the standing model, they work really well together indeed. I do love this model slightly more due to it's exciting pose, it's fantastic paint job, and attention to detail with the sculpt. Every scale and vein is artistically worked into this piece, and it looks amazing from every angle, even down to the detail on the bottom of the feet. The teeth are great, they are irregular and realistic, as I imagine a real t-rex's teeth would be after chomping on a few triceratops! I would recommend this for all dinosaur fans, a must have model if you like t-rex!

What, can one say about 'The' Tyrannosaurus? I think, this might be the favourite amongst dinosaur collectors,and they will not be disappointed with this fearsome model of The T-Rex.A beautifully made model, with the excellent paint colours and realistic poses that are exceptionally well done..!This 'Running' Tyrannosaurus stands at approx. 130mm (Top of head) & 330mm (Nose to tail).The model is 'fantastic' and would be enjoyed by any discerning child or collector of dinosaurs..!A full 5 Stars for this ''Terrible Lizard' .

The detail, pose and paint job are just excellent. This far surpasses anything in Schleich's range. The movable jaw is a fantastic bonus to an already impressive model.I've purchased this to be the central point of a 28mm tabletop gaming Jurassic Park-ish set, although he's perhaps just slightly too large for it scale-wise to be spot-on historically accurate. But hey, it's a sci-fi setting: He can be a particularly large specimen!

WOW! This T-Rex toy arrived today and it is amazing! It is a birthday present for my nephews 5th birthday....but now i wanna keep it! LOL. It is a highly detailed model with a moving jaw, even the inside of the mouth and soft palette are sculpted, its well made and sturdy....if this is the Papo standard i'll definately be getting more of their 'toys'.

Think of this more as an ornament and you can't go wrong.The only thing that is articulated is the jaw. Looking at the materials used this would fail fairly quickly in younger hands and because of the lack of articulation would lack play value.As a dino fan though I love it apart from maybe too much green in its colouring.

Beautiful figure. Papo is definitely the best. Only problem I have with this one is the paint job, the face is stunningly detailed but the legs and rest of the body is done so poorly, I’ve seen reviews and photos of this same figure done way better, a little disappointed with that but still a great figure.

I bought this, along with a triceratops and a stegosaurus for my son for Christmas. After looking online and reading many reviews I chose papo dinosaurs as they get great reviews and are very reasonably priced. My son will love these on Christmas morning. Fantastic service from Amazon.

Amazing t rex. The most realistic figure i ever had !!!! A good base for my repaint projects. Pictures aint gonna show all the details and paint. Also impressed by physiological features, no “funny” legs or claws. As a dino lover would recommend this t rex, all five stars from me.

Bought this for our son for his 4th birthday. He's had others that I've found to be a bit brittle - losing a toe or the end of a tail in a fight! This one seems to be a little more rubbery and flexible so hopefully the same won't happen. It looks great, better than in the picture.

Great little thing. However, people go on about it being jurassic park style..It definitely isn't. Perhaps a trip to specsavers for those.It's based on the V rex from King Kong by a mile..Prefer the jurassic park based t rex but this is a nice addition.
