Great figure, lots of detail and nice quality for a good price. Bought as a decoration for my husband's birthday cake (he's an archer) and then let me 9 year old have it to play with - they were both very pleased with it and we have bought other Papo figures for my daughter since as they are brilliant and good value. Would be nice as a toy for a perhaps 7 plus child (I'm not too good on ages though as I only have one child to measure these things against!) but also nice for a collector or older enthusiast.

This Papo figure is, like most of Papo's range, an accurate and uncannily life like model at a scale of approximately one twentieth. I do not consider that these figures are toys ~ they are accurate models of mediaeval military subjects with much well observed detail. My only reservation was that the subjects are all of continental European origin and do not include the legendary English bowmen but they are a delight for all that.

Nicely made figure and the different colour highlights the separate armies in imaginative play. Encourages imaginative play in a 6 year old.

Great toy, perfect size, strong for my small grandchild to play with. Will go perfectly with his other figures for his wooden Castle.
