This set of erasable gel pens is an excellent addition to my pencil case. They've got a 0.7mm roller ball, which is a medium, commonly found in normal handwriting pens, and a removable top with an eraser on the end. This set contains a good array of colours which is ideal for my purposes (marking student work), with the standard blue, black, red and green, plus a rather fetching turquoise, pink, purple and orange too. These pens are erasable because the ink disappears when heated. I would say that you can still see slight traces of what you've erased, but I didn't find this to be too much of a problem. The eraser at the end of each cap warms the ink up through friction, and it can no longer be seen,

I've always liked writing with gel pens, they are much nicer than basic biros. I really like these - they feel comfortable in the hand and are very easy to write with. The colours are good; basic black and blue plus more interesting lilac/purple and pink. Trying them out on fairly standard paper, writing then erasing, initially I got slightly mixed results using the eraser however I found it does require a bit of pressure and still leaves very slight traces maybe though very acceptable to me for gel pen. As others have noted the colours are really as vibrant as Paper Mate would suggest but not bad at all.

As soon as I saw these I knew my teenage daughter would love the idea of erasable pens. She is at the stage of secondary school when everything has to be done in pen and I knew she longed for the days when she could just erase those pesky mistakes she made in pencil. The eraser on these pens works really well too, you would hardly know there was anything different there before. She liked the different colours too, as she likes to draw in pen and ink and said the tip of these pens is fine enough for this. The colours don't bleed into each other and give a good coverage without the different lines of colours produced by some pens.

I am very impressed with this eight pack blister set of gel ink paper mate pensThey are lovely bright colours including one black and improves my very bad handwriting with their fine tips.They are so easy and comfy to hold and makes writing a pleasure, they do have their own grips.The eraser on the top of the pen works really well, it's nearly erased my mistake perfectly so it's done enough clearance to easily correct my mistake without any mess, and I am very grateful for that.Loving these paper mate pens and perfect to use for all occasions including my greetings cards.And I am so grateful for the eraser and as made my writing much more enjoyable.So no more restarting a letter just easily erase and carry on without any mess as promised,

These pens are quite pleasant to write with and, with a little elbow grease, can be totally erased via the eraser. The blue, purple and pink are nice and vibrant but the black is a little grey in my opinion.Whether you like 0.7mm is down to personal taste. I do, and these are just perfect for me for marking exercise books. I suspect pupils would like them for highlighting or making their work more interesting. I would like the bit you hold to be a bit more comfortable but I do like the results that these produce and they are easier to erase than other similar pens I've used before.At the current time at a pound per pen these represent good value and I would recommend them.

I was already familiar with this style of pen from having used the Frixion range which works the same way but only came in the standard blue-black-red colours.They use thermo-sensitive ink that goes clear with heat, so the rubbing action with the nobbly pen end creates the friction that 'erases' the ink. This means that there's no messy bits left on the page and you can re-write and erase as often as you need.With this new range the colours are nice though they could have been a bit stronger.I love writing in different colours though so love this set, it's a bonus that they are also refillable as the Frixion range are also.

COLOURFUL==========These are a really beautiful set of pens. I have confession. I love stationery. So I know a good pen when I see one. These are nice, bright and easy to use.COMPETITORS=============There is a competing pen set that also rubs out. They're fine, in fact they're very good. But these feel better in the hand. More comfortable.VALUE======I think for the price they're good value. They're a well made pen and get are effective.OVERALL========These should be on your shortlist if you're after a pen that runs out.

Paper mate is a respected brand name in the Pen world and they've just got a little bit better with these erasable pens.I love papermate pens, but no amount of cool colours, great grip, and smooth writing can prevent me from accidentally (of course) making a mistake. So I'm thrilled to have these erasable pens which take care of all my mistakes!Colours included are as follows: 1 black, 1 blue, 1 red, 1 green, 1 turquoise, 1 pink, 1 purple, 1 orange.Lovely pens, and fantastic value for money. Recommended.

From a brand you can trust, these gel pens are beautifully smooth and allow for decent detail. They are great for both writing and drawing, the colours are vibrant. I cannot vouch for the orange since the one in my pack did not work, probably a blockage or bubble in the ballpoint.The eraser works very well, however be cautious with thin paper since to erase well a modicum of force is required.With the exception of my bit of bad luck, these are of a high quality both in terms of comfort and output.

I used to have one of tis papermate pens ages ago, and the only thing i used to like is the fact that you can erase it, well, now the quality has imrpoved, the quality of the ink is a lot better, it has a deeper colour also and it hasn't dry like it did before,It does erase l and I would recommend to wait a few seconds after writing something since it will erase faster and better when the ink is absorb or dry on the paper. I do definitely recommend this product.

The Paper Mate Replay gel pens are a great collection of colourful pens with the added bonus of being erasable. The 8 blister pack offers a great selection: 1 each of black, blue, red, green, turquoise, pink, purple, and orange.The pens write very smoothly with a standard 0.7mm tip. With a little light friction the ink vanishes away, really excellent! The pens write reliably and the colours are rich.Recommended!

A nice selection of colours. The pens are light, easy to hold and they look stylish (as you would expect from Papermate). The ink flows smoothly without any real pressure at all and the pens write equally as well on all kinds of paper. Was sceptical about the eraser but when you rub it on the writing it is like a magic trick as the ink disappears before your eyes, and with no residue on the eraser.

I know these are only pens but I am quite blown away by them! I can't get over the rubber that never runs out.The pens come in four vivid colours: black, blue, pink and purple. They write beautifully and smoothly. And the rubber seems to be magic as it completely removes all traces of ink. Like all papermate, the pens are well made and easy to grip and write with. I love these pens!

Bought these for a study course I am doing with alot of writing and drawing. These work well for mistakes you make and want to rub out, it gives the paper a smooth shiny finish and the write quality of over the same area is a bit weaker but it does the job well for what I need of it.Just wish they made refills for these pens aswell like their black and blue pens.

These are really good! Excellent bright colours which are true to the advertisement. Comfortable to hold and use/write with and the eraser is good at what it does! Yes, the ink did rub away. Quite impressive and think will be very useful for kids and schoolwork etc. Also useful when making notes and then later wanting to remove. Impressive.
