The Ortler Mainau, which I have been using daily for several months now, has surprised me several times. The delivered bike was assembled quickly and easily. The included instructions and suitable tools were also helpful. The built-in material is, seen in the price range, quite high quality, the technical components are stable and so it made a very good impression right from the start. I was recently hit by a car while crossing a Berlin street. Fortunately, nothing else happened to me except a few scratches and grazes. My loyal companion, the Mainau, was also fine according to the circumstances. Except for the derailleur arm, which was slightly bent, no other parts were deformed so that they can no longer be used or are broken.

Here you can get a lot of bike for the money. Solid and well-functioning brand basic equipment. Timeless and high-quality look with powder-coated, matt frame. Gears and brakes came neatly adjusted - but with stretching of the trains after some time probably be nachstellt. Small criticisms: Axa front light is weak at 15 lux and does not have an on / off switch (therefore permanently lit probably for side dynamo). But I could simply swap it with an Axa blueline 30 switch (the existing cabling + plug on the wheel could be plugged into the plastic plug at the bottom of the old light at the new Axa, so that the tail light is switched on / off) The bell was packed together with the heavy pedals and thereby broken off on the plastic hanger.

I was looking for a cheap, practical everyday bike that I don't have to be afraid of being stolen from the city immediately. Thanks to a discount, I was able to buy it even more cheaply. In the meantime I have covered about 3000 km. I also bought him a child trailer, child seat and front carrier for waterproof bags. The bike copes very well with the constantly high load (70 kg rider, 30 kg loaded trailer + luggage). The rear shift group could be a little higher quality, which of course is also due to the price. Nevertheless, it does its job and apart from a few hoses and 2 sets of brakes I had no major wear

I am satisfied with the purchase from all points of view. I was surprised by the beauty first of all. Secondly from the fact that I can't find any faults. Value for money which I find excellent. The only flaw with regard to inexperienced cyclists like me is the valve in the air chamber. I think he is a type that is not very common in Italy and that takes time to acquire practice in inflating the tires (practice difficult at the moment). If it continues like this over the years, I can only be satisfied.

The bike is good value for money and I like to ride it to work on a regular basis. I bought the Ortler Mainau in early 2019 for around € 400 and have never looked back. I've optimized it with a different bell and better lighting. The air pump is unusable and should be replaced with a working model. Oh yes, there are also good tires with puncture protection and I still had a flat tire on the rear wheel, but something like that happens and can be fixed with little effort .;)

I bought the bike in 2018 (Mainau 2018 model) and went on a trip with it from Spain to Germany. + 4500km in 3 months. No problem (apart from the typical puncture) the rear covers changed it three times and a pair the chain (typical), however, the front cover still had the original. Right now the bike is +2 years old, I still use it and approx. 8000km, you can see the use, but it still works perfectly :) Very good quality / price purchase.

I retrofitted the bike with an electric rear-wheel drive (hub motor). It is a great basis for this. After driving around 250 kilometers in pure city operation, it's a real fun machine ... Basically very solid, with the same components, only the rim brakes are a compromise that you have to accept for the low price. Disc brakes would be the better solution, but they also make the bike more expensive ...

I am satisfied with this choice which in use proves to be reliable and comfortable to drive. Unpacking, fitting the pedals, adjusting the stem are no problem. On the other hand, I cannot get my front light to work when my rear lights are lit normally when the dynamo is in use. What can I do ? Thank you for your clarification.

I found the presentation and information in the description to be very good and was not disappointed when the bike was delivered. Everything included - great quality - I can't understand the negative reviews of some of the others here. The bike is great and I can recommend it

Very satisfied with the bike: Light, solid, sober, comfortable ride. Ideal for the city and the countryside… only good things for this bike. In terms of delivery: impeccable. bike ordered on a Sunday evening received on Thursday. No problem. Well done guys, good job

I have been riding my bike every day for about a month, about 20 km, without any problem. I am satisfied with the purchase. The value for money is very good. The change and brakes could be a little better. But for that price you can't ask for more.

I ordered a bike and it arrived three weeks ago. I’ve never liked cycling, but this bike made me fall in love with cycling. Already 250 km of accumulated distance. A wonderfully stable and yet light treading commute.

Good bike quality price, fast delivery, good city bike and small trail, I like the general design, the coil for permanent lighting, I like less the pedals that are quickly slippery in the rain.

The bike is not expensive but sturdy for the price. The assembly is easy (instructions as well for the Ar .... cool has tools, only Velopumpe is not used) and the Satel is too hard for my taste

This bike is great for everyday home / work use and occasional field trips. He swallows hillsides without difficulty. The saddle is could be more comfortable.
