Bike bought following an accident that sent my previous bike to scrap. Nexus 7 practical but not the quality of a Pinion or Kalkhoff hub but not the same price either. In short, sometimes it cracks, there are jumps but nothing really annoying for use in the city. Negative points: - very uncomfortable saddle - the lighting cannot be switched off because there is no switch - the brake by retro pedal is very painful, why this possibility when there are skate brakes. I find this system dangerous, on a bend that I took tight I almost left in the scenery when I wanted to position the pedal. In short, it's more but it's mostly too much.

The Ortler Monet offers a lot of bike for little money. I drove about 100KM now, and apart from the too small spread in the gear hub, nothing bothered me, on the contrary: The hub was a main reason to buy, because I was so fed up with this derailleur ... * Sovereign seating position (but improved by an ancient Brooks B066), * extremely quiet (only the click of the switch is a little too loud), * looks super retro with the brown tires, * very strong brakes, * I also have an LED lamp in front, * massive frame tubes inspire confidence, * Luggage rack very stable, * Brand tires. I would buy the bike again immediately.

I have tested this bike for 3 weeks and around 200km of city traffic. The seating position, gearshift, brakes and lights are great for this price range. One can argue about the quality of the saddle, for me it is absolutely fine. During the pre-assembly, attention should be paid to all screws, the assembly of the front brake was not correct. All in all, a well-equipped bike for everyday use and unbeatable in terms of price-performance ratio.

Nice, practical city bike. Smooth 8-speed hub gear. Even with parking lights in the back. Not that great that the front light cannot be switched off. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about. There is a lot of bike for little money! It is also pretty to look at.

Timely delivery and a fair price. The bike runs very well and is completely sufficient for my purposes. Funny, I find that in the assembly instructions extra is pointed out that you can screw only one pedal per pedal arm.

Everything top up on front brake which was not easy to assemble. Meanwhile exchanged for a branded product. Now the bike is great !!!
