This is probably the best I have ever come across in the price range below the top shots. Thus, there is a clear fine and bright view. A very smooth focus, and a surprisingly close focus as well. So much better than the Adventurer offered from the same company. And if one needs to wear glasses while using binoculars, one still gets pretty much the full field of view here. The only limitation I can see comes for those with a narrow setting of their eyes. In that case, the two tubes may not fold together sufficiently. So in case of doubt, it would be good to try before you buy. Otherwise just go ahead and you certainly won't regret it. Whether green or black, it is the same fine model.

Bought these for my parents for Christmas having read lots of good reviews. They're heavier than I was expecting but when I actually weighed them they were slightly lighter than the pair I've been using for the last 35 years, they probably just felt heavier because they're a bit more compact. I've always loved my binoculars and they've given me years of good birdwatching service. However I'm now suffering binocular envy. Not only do these have better magnification but they also give such a lovely bright crisp image. I'm certainly no binocular expert - but these are much better than mine!

These are excellent quality and very good value for money. They are light and compact. The individual correction for the right eye is separate from the eyepiece and is firm enough to prevent it being accidently moved as so often happens with budget binoculars. They also have removable caps attached to the rubber casing for protecting the bottom lenses. I would recommend these binoculars as they have good waterproofing as well. The field of view is not so large but to get that you have to go up considerably in price. An excellent product all round.

I have used Opticron before. Twelve years ago bought a pair, same magnification but twice the price. These Trailfinders are optically the equal to those. Just show how optics have improved over the years.Perfectly adequate for birding. They have a very short focal length so you can get a close-up view of butterflies etc at only 4 feet away. So, very good value and delivered within 48 hours.

Bought a pair recently as a light weight, second pair of binoculars. And they function very well as that: small enough to fit in a pocket or bag; decent light gathering for the magnification; focus down close enough for use watching insects; water-proof and rubber-armoured; very easy to use, with none of the issues a couple of other reviewers seem to have had.Cannot fault them.

For the money these are good binoculars. Great quick focusing. I've had opticron optics before and found these match them for build quality. Clearly the optics are no match for binoculars worth more money but for the price they are superior compared to many low price binoculars.

Great binoculars. Very high quality and crystal clear. Easy to use with spectacles. The strap supplied was cheap and shoddy which was disappointing, but the binoculars themselves - perfect!

Not quite used to using them yet but they are small and light to carry around, and the bonus is that the lens caps can't get lost as they are attached.

very good binocular at a good price. Looked at others but this is small, lightweight waterproof, nitrogen filled. very good overall

Very good optics that give a very bright image and the tethered rubber lens covers make these binoculars excellent for field work.

Clear bright image, lots of eye relief (I bought them because I wear glasses, and the adjustable eyepieces work well). Good value.

Really delighted with these. Boughtthem for my grandson age 13 and he loves them. Previously using a very heavy ex army pair.

Good birdwatching bins that are not too expensive. They are very light and have a good zoom/focus for the price.
