I will keep this review very short.I have gone through possibly 10 roof prism binoculars with ED glass and dielectric prism and phase correction coating & BAk4 prism price anywhere between £350 and £450.Now these roof prism binoculars aren’t bad and some have better optics than others BUT you are not going to beat a Porro unless you move up to a Zeiss conquest. I am saying this because these Olympus are unbelievable when it comes to contrast/sharpness and brightness. You can believe all that hype of ED glass but when putting this one side by side to my 10x42 Bushnell ED engage the Olympus put it to shame. The image in the Olympus has a 3D effect and depth, the colour reproduction is second to none however,

These handsome binoculars give a clear, precise and stable image with smooth focussing. They appear to be very well made, and solid - slightly on the heavy side, but OK.The carrying case is of poor quality, without its own straps but with apertures for the binocular straps. The case thus becomes a nuisance when the instrument is taken out of it in the field. The larger lens caps fully detach and so are easily lost (the smaller caps clip to the binocular strap). The multi-language instructions are somewhat confusing in the English version. Not quite spoiling the ship, but a ha'porth of tar would have been well applied even if a few pounds had been added to the price.A warning; I ordered these by express delivery from Amazon,

Superb binocular from Olympus.Very well made with smooth accurate focussing. There is no play in the bridge. The optics are fully multicoated throughout, The image quality is excellent in terms of resolution, contrast and brightness and compares well with other binoculars costing at least twice the price. When compared with the Nikon Action EX equivilent the Olympus is clearly brighter and sharper and this is notably due to the poor optical coatings on the EX. The build quality of the EX is similar to the Olympus.If you are looking for a quality binocular with optical quality close to a roof prism equivilent costing at least double the price then look no further.

Given the cost, these binoculars are suberb. The optics are excellent. They are good for general use, or for viewing the heavens. They are comfortable to handle. All-in-all, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Very very good once set focus for your eyes which is very simple and the focus/zoom is excellent especially within tree environment for looking at a specific spot would recommend ?

Excellent binoculars, so comfortable to hold in my big hands and good vision. Only complaint is that the case is a flimsy thing and a poor fit

I am very happy with the binoculars. Very sharp and clear. I don't know much about binoculars but I am satisfied with how it works.

These binoculars are confortable to use and easy to focus. Grat for watching the birds in the garden and when out and about!

Bought as a present for my dad. Very clear view and easy to adjust. Good for using in home.
