You can use this LED kit to give your custom PC some character without looking tacky like red, blue or green LEDs. I've got a window in my PC and obviously wanted to show off my excellent cable management and clean PC and these were great. The box contains the following:The expansion slot cover with all the techno bits. The LED strip, which is detachable from the expansion slot through a small connector. This is useful as it makes the process less fiddly to install the expansion slot. Some sticky pads to attach the LED strip to your PC case. The product fits into an expansion port on your PC, and is powered by a molex connector. These are present on almost any power supply. My first LED cable had two failed LEDs on it,the seller was quick to respond to me inquiring about this and sent out another replacement product and even let me keep the old one. The seller I used was of top standard and delivered very quickly, obviously this does not reflect the actual product but I thought I'd add this.My only complaint would be that the molex connector is a bit too short to be able to hide it using some of the case's cable management holes, even in NZXT's own Phantom 410 case, so molex connectors are visible. This is purely an aesthetic complaint and doesn't impact the product's performance at all.

I'm quite anal about quality and this fits the bill (almost) perfectly.First off the packaging is good - a generic hard plastic packet kept the product safe from any damage in transit. Then the product itself is very nice quality, in the package is the small motherboard built into the blanking plate, the LED strip, a molex cable for power to the 'board and a collection of sticky-back mounting clips to mount the LED strip in your case. All parts are very good quality and the sleeving on the LED strip is very nice and matches perfectly the modular cables supplied with my OCZ PSU. The blanking plate has a 3 way switch for brighter/dimmer and a push button for on/off.The only things I could stretch to moan about is the fact that where the strip is quite stiff, due to it being tightly rolled in the packaging it is hard to get it to lay out during fitting without it being a pain. And also they could do with putting more sticky clips in, they give you 4 big ones and 8 small ones - but they run out quick when going around complex corners. But all in all very happy with this product and will be looking to buy from NZXT again.9.5 out of 10.

I found this to be a great fun addition to the PC. 2 meters is long enough to cover most of the internals and the amount of lights was just fine. They are also quite bright. The kit contains a bunch of little adhesive plastic clips, I had plenty to spare even after finishing the installation of the lights. The power cord is fairly short, but it was long enough to reach to the main gromit where the bulk of the PSU wires ducked into and i was able to neatly connect it to a molex on the other side of the gromit. Some people have complained about the brightness, well I think the white ones are very bright,I can't speak for other colours though. It should be noted that if you install them carelessly and have lights pointing into the surface they are adhered to then they will produce much less light. So if you are struggling to get them bright enough, make sure they are actually pointing at the things you want to light up.

Good stuff:-Looks great, very easy to install as it comes with some discrete black clips to keep the wire in place.-Fair price-Control panel is a nice touch but it does require a spare PCI/e expansion slot in your case though it doesn't require an actual PCI/e slot as it is powered by a 4-pin connector from your PSU.Bad Stuff:-The cable which connects the circuit board to the power could have been a bit longer for me but it isn't stupidly short (~6in)-The circuit board ever so slightly collides with a PCI (note: NOT PCIe) slot but it does still fit with a bit of persuasion and slight flex- The LEDs, as you might expect, are all fixed in the direction they point so what they shine on is determined by how you mount it.They're also too stiff for me to dare alter with this but I suspect that if you were prepared to mess around with the sleeving you might be able to change their angle.

Fantastic product, I purchased two 1Mtr Cables in red to go at the top and bottom of an open frame PC, literally took 5 minutes to fit. Just plug the supplied cable into a spare 4 pin molex connector, fit the circuit board into a spare PCI slot in your case and you are in business. Three settings for variable light intensity allow you to dim it down a bit if required, well sleeved to hide all wires, looks greatCons:- The only slight niggle is that the LED's are attached to the side of a flat cable within the shielding, once you slot the cable into the little plastic clips provided it does not allow for easy rotation of the cable. So it can be a bit fiddly trying to get the LED's pointing at whatever you want to highlight within the case (but it is only a minor observation ) and can be overcome with some fiddling.

the lights are bright and look cool, but i was expecting it to go all the way around my Coolermaster Storm Scout edges (around the window edges) but it only gets from the PCI-E slot around the left side of my Watercooling radiator then accross the top and back down the right side of the Graphics card, which i think wasn't ideal... but it still looks good the way iv'e done it, just not as good as i was expecting. The 4/5 was basically for the length of the Sleeve, but it was my own fault really for not measuring around the case to see if i needed the 2 metres... if you found this helpful then your welcome. iv'e still yet to see what it looks like in the dark.If I were to buy this again I would definitely go for the 2 metres, and possibly blue because it is brighter.

I had a spare PCI slot bracket and a large vent on one side of my Mini-ITX case, so I thought 'Why not?'Turned out looking great, the ability to adjust the brightness and switch the LEDs on/off is the best part about this, many other case LED's are either permanently on or require you to open the case to adjust their settings which can be a hassle, especially if you like watching movies without distractions.Just don't forget that LED's are uni-directional by nature (they function like spotlights), so once you've set them up I'd recommend powering up the system while the case is still open so you can adjust their positions to highlight the components for better effect.

I brought these lights to go inside of my NZXT Phantom 410 case and they were easy to install and lit up my case like Christmas. I was amazed at how powerful the LEDs were when I first turned them on, and loved the included light adjustment and off function included on the PCI slot. They did take me a while to put into my case, but that is because I am very precise in everything I do in my build, so spent a while adjusting the lights to ensure they were aiming correctly and that they would be completely hidden within my case.If you want to light up your mid-tower case, there is no need for the 2M strip, this 1M strip will easily illuminate up your case.

The red is very red and no issues with installation. The light is less uniform than you may imagine since this is basically the same as Christmas lights but on the other hand one might find that appealing - depends on your computer setup. I wish the molex connector has a longer cable but this probably won't be an issue if you have some cable management and a decent case going on.Comes with sticky pads to attach the LED cable to, they work alright though I can't speak for long term durability. Be sure to flip the cable to the right side for maximum light output, if your LEDs are facing inwards it'll come off as very dim.

So this LED cable is perfect,It even and it doesnt say this but you should know this comes with a packet of little sticky clips that harmlessly apply them self onto practically any surface (including glass) and hold their own weight and the cables weight perfectly. The brightnesses all three of them are quite nice, I choose the lowest as it's nicely calm and the brightest one is well a super nova.I have a picture of an machine with it in use for you guys and this is on the brightest setting. This is a HTC DCIM camera so quality is okay :DDo I recommend it? well not anything can really go wrong with it.

This are great for lighting ones PC case. I never used cathodes but the look bulky and messy wiring for a small-mid size tower case. This are a great alternative if not better, does not mater your case is not a NZXT case, there universal. I added this to me storm scout case and really sets it off. On/Off button that you access from the rear of the PC and not trap inside the case, 3 way brightness switch beside the on/off button. Comes with stickes to place around the case which also black which blend and very hard to see in a black case. Great purchase!

Just fitted this product and I am very happy with the result. Installation only took 5 minutes and it was very easy going. They include some sticky back clips which keep the lighting strip in place. It is great having access to the on/off and the brightness level via the back of the case. The control panel just connects to the back of your PC case. I have a medium NZXT Phantom case and on medium brightness it looks awesome. If you have the same case, 410 midi, then the 1m is certainly sufficient. 2m is too many lights in my opinion for this case.

I’ve had the Hue+ for just over a year and wanted to add a few more strips to have more flexible lighting choices with my system upgrade. The extension kit has all you need, two strips, extension cables and the main connection lead (although I’m not sure why as the standard Hue+ comes with 2!My only wish for the Hue+ setup as a whole would be that you can get both black or white LED strips. You can get different colour controllers but not the strips. I’d much rather have black ones in my build. Hey ho! Can’t have everything but good job NZXT.

Very Good High Quality Product! I would highly recommend, straight out of the box it was plug and play. I connected it using the four pin connector (Molex) and used the sticky backed wire holders to route the LED stripe through my case, it was long enough to do a full loop of my Zalman Z11 case and does a very good job of lighting up my case, The breaded wiring allows you to hide the wires well providing even better cable management, i would highly recommend this product to anyone who are looking for Blue LEDs!

These lights look absolutely beautiful in my Coolermaster Elite 430 and I am so glad that I chose these over cold cathodes. They are really flexible, can fit into tight spaces and they supply enough mounts to fit the case with some leftover. The only flaw is the length of the strip. It just about fit round my window alone, which isn't a problem for me. I would definitely recommend a 2m version of this because they are just pure awesome. Definitely glad about this purchase.
