The LED strip is brilliant with a huge array of colors, all of which are very vibrant, I would definitely recommend getting the control box version because you can switch between all of the colours at will, if your like me and your color preference changes with your mood, these are great ! The only thing I would knock this for is the LED stip can be a bit awkward if you have a full metal case like me, then it can be difficult to position it exactly where you want it, because it's gripping onto whatever it can, and sometimes you find you may have your LED strip on a slight angle, but this is easily resolved with a bit of clever planning and forward thinking about where you want your stip !

oh yes I can confirm that I have connected this straight to my 5 pin GRBW header on my motherboard without using the 5th W pin also haven’t used the black box control in the kit & it’s working just fine also can control the lights changing colours Red /Green /Blue (RGB) & have different flashing modes all from RGB Fusion 2.0 software from my B450 AORUS ELITE Gigabyte motherboard very happy with my item

Bought this to go along with MSI Mystic Lights. Easy and simple installation especially with the magnetic back. Cable length could be abit longer but non the less a perfect RGB Strip
