These are a good quality pair of a bar pads, and I have made use of them in a non conventional way.My son walks the aid of a walking frame (kaye walker) and the cross bar behind him was catching his back causing bruising. The purpose build pads were over-prescribed and in my opinion didn't look great. So I bought a pair of these, trimmed the foam down in one to the correct length and it fitted his walked brilliantly. The give in it stops rubbing and it's made my little boys frame look a touch more normal.Good quality and good price.

These are one of the cheaper sets of pads but seem sturdy. The foam seems reasonably dense. We also have some Gul pads these have the foam fully enclosed with nylon whereas the outer layer on the Northcore ones folds over the foam when you put it on but this is just a design difference and apart from that the pads work exactly the same. We use them for transporting kayaks. I would recommend these rood pads.

Bought this to protect a sea kayak on the square Thule bars of a roof rack and they’re perfect.Really easy to fit in a minute or less, with plenty of Velcro to ensure they don’t come off when you’re travelling at 70 with the roof rack on, but no kayak.Material feels good quality so I don’t anticipate any issues on that score.Overall, do what they need to do. Highly recommended

Vest purchase for roof bars. Used to get the dreaded whistle at 45mph but fitted these and now on the motorway I don't hear tma thing (obviously no more than 70) lol I can only guess they'd start to make a noise at about 85/90 ;-)Would definitely recommend and also they look spot on

Great for my board. Unfortunately I have a fancy shaped roof rack that reduced wind resistance and noise so it doesn't fit properly, but I took the foam bit out and just put the cover over, which worked, and at least it my board won't get scratched.

Great product only downside is my VW roof bars are unusually thick and it was difficult to get the Velcro to fasten. Other bars such as Thule, PH and Halfords brand bars would have been better. All in a good quality product very well made.

Great roofrack pads, easy to fix using the strong velco flap - although I cable tie them on as well to, hopefully, stop them being nicked! Stops the kayaks/surfboards sliding around, essential for glass fibre boats, recommended.

Perfect for protecting myself against my machinery. Yes, I realise that these are designed to fit onto roof rails or similar, but they were versatile enough for my needs also. Quick delivery too from Amazon Prime.

Use the bar pads to protect my kayak while on the roof rack, the roof rack bars are a little too thick for the pads to wrap around, so I used some valcro long enough too hold the pads in place, works a treat!

Came in good time scale and easily fitted and doesn’t look our of place.Seems strong enough to withstand wear and tear - ended up buying another pair to fully cover the width of the roof bars

These are simple, well made and well priced. Very stong velcro means that we'll never loose them and they will provide great padding and added friction for carrying kayaks and surf boards.

Bought these knowing they wouldn't quite fit the wing bars we have, but with some modification to the foam inner, they now fit great. They are perfect for protecting a foam topped board.

Brought these for the roof bars on a pick up truck. you can fit two on the same bar. Very good & weather/ car wash proof. Been on for a few weeks now and no signs of fading.

Hard wearing material but made for thin bars, there is 2 in the pack I've had to join them together which works fine for what i needed them for I'm happy with this product
