These fitted really well to the roof bars, giving a very secure base for the bars and bike racks we put on top. The design is quite low profile, so they add very little height to the roof rack, which is a bonus if you're shifting heavy stuff onto the roof and reduces the noise too (they are quiet). The design of the grips means that there should be no damage to the car's roof rails, even if you really tighten them up.Overall, I'm very impressed with the design and finish.One thing to bear in mind though, if you are planning on changing cars, these feet won't necessarily work with the same bars - due to the different widths of the car's roof (and therefore distance between the rails).

I purchased my Thule roof bar feet along with the bars themselves, which I use to mount a Thule Motion XT roof box and/or my Thule Pro bike rack. I felt confident enough to fit them myself and after a few minutes of getting my head around the instructions I found them to be straight forward enough.The feet are very solid and fit well with the seperately sold bars. They feel like a premium product and frankly that’s what you want when you’re carrying your stuff on the roof of your car. I’ve driven a couple of thousand miles with them on and experience no wind noise from the bars or feet when they’re on the roof without the box.

Fitted these to roof rails on my Passat estate, and would thoroughly recommend. The fitting has a single integrated turnkey, tightening this grips the car's roof rail, and simultaneously grips the roof rack bar. It's therefore really simple to move the bars forward and back, left and right having only to loosen the feet by a couple of turns each side then re-tighten. Pack also comes with locks which push into place, and rubber end pieces for the roof rack bars (which you will have bought separately). Feet have a durable rubber lining which won't damage your car and provided enough grip to prevent 80kg of roof box shifting anywhere.

Ordered from Amazon Warehouse at a vastly reduced price. Arrived in A1 condition except for the original damaged card-board box. What a bargain compared to full pukka A1 price. The Footpack does exactly as you'd expect from Thule, fits the roof rails. Easy to assembly (pop some oil on the lock) and very easy to mount on the rails (assuming you didn't forget to buy some rails!!). The lock (1 on each foot) stops someone pinching off with the feet by hiding the mounting mechanism. The mounting mechanism is a simple screw bolt with a thumb wheel which pills out for you to turn, then pushes back in to hide away, bravo.

Bought this item together with the wingbar 963 so I could fit my Roof box onto a Transporter T5.Both together worked perfectly and when fitted was secure and rigid.What I liked about both units is the locking mechanism in the rapid system and how quick you can fit it.You also have guild bars which means you can centralise the roofbox easily.Excellent bit of kit and would recommend both items as they work well together.Recently came back from Scotland under severe weather and had no problems. Well designed bit of kit.Hope this helps but definatly an excellent purchase with or without the wingbar.

I purchased this product thinking it would come with the bars after reading the Heading and seeing the advert picture, as compared to other advert picture, they shaded the bars out instead of the feet. So therefore I thought the feet and bars are all included without reading the description, so I lost out on £[] returning the product safely back more fool me for not reading description properly.As for the feet I would highly recommend them as I purchased the feet and the bars else where and they are brilliant.

Fitted them onto vehicle's raised roof bars without any problems. Whn attempting to use my existing Thule square bars I found the slots in underside of bars did not extend inward far enough to allow them to secure to Footpack. These were 137cm long so presumably I would have to purchase shorter bars. To keep cost down I used a small angle grinder and carefully extended the slots in existing bars by 4cms each end. Painted the exposed metal and these bars fit nicely now.

Same review for bars and feet.Works well. Quick and easy to attach to roof rails. Easy to lock.Seems very strongInitial assembly instructions are a bit abstract. Followed instructions for bars and then went to feet instructions. The first instructions for the feet were to throw out the instructions for the bars!Would recommend checking out thule + <model number> on youtube for initial assembly

I was very impressed by the solidity and ease of fitting of this to my car (Volkswagen Passat). I wanted to carry a couple of bikes and in the longer term probably a roof box. I thought about VW roofbars but I opted for these and Thule wingbars as a cheaper (and maybe quieter) option. The thule system is very well integrated and I am pleased with this purchase.

As with the Thule roof bars that I bought and reviewed these are a great investment and have been very easy to use and fit. Make sure you do a dry run before you actually need to fit them, load the roof box and travel to your destination - avoid the stress. Once you've fitted them once it is really easy.

bought for my volvo v40 ; sourced the actual roof-bars locally, but this 'foot-pack' represented quite a saving over local prices.have successfully been using the roof-bars for over a year now, with a rack (also sourced locally) for mounting my bicycle. this 'thule' equipment has worked extremely well.

Excellent quality product. You would expect that from Thule who are known for their quality and innovative solutions to carrying loads but this fitting kit is simple to use and takes just seconds to fit each foot to the bars From then on it is extremely easy to fit the bars to your car each time.

Great product relatively easy to fit, once you have threaded the rubber seals into the bars and cut to lengths needed. Great tightening system and no noise at all. Our existing roof box fitted without problems, going from a square bar to a wing bar without any difficulties. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately I had to return this item as it didn’t fit the roof rails on my 2018 VW Caddy Maxi Life. The delivery was excellent and the returns process faultless. Thank you.The item itself is of superb quality and I would have been happy to keep it had it fitted.

These are excellent. They fit any car that comes with roof rails. e.g. most estate cars. They are easy to fit. The rapid system is fast and easy to use - no more allen key required. Attaching the Thule bar is easy. Overall I am pleased and would recommend.
