Brought this item for, my 3 children aged, 4, 6, and 9 in order, for them to recognise and learn about money in a fun way! This a perfect way to engage children In a fun family game, where they are also learning!Cards consist of, real UK coin images displaying their value and a range of cards with different amounts of coins, where children have to calculate amounts displayed.I found this product a lot more resourceful as, my children are visually and actively learning making, it easier to grasp calculations, values and ordering. There are several games you can play other than snap such as, ordering money, same value different coins (grouping), relation to times tables e.g 2’s, 5’s,10’s etc and questioning (adding and taking away!I would strongly recommend to parents, It's economical, fun and easy to engage in comparison to toy tills and worksheets!

These cards consist of two types of card - one half with drawings of various coins on; and the other half has monetary amounts on.The rule cards suggest playing pairs and snap. There are a couple of others that you can play too, yes they are similar to pairs but the do shake things up a little. These cards are very good for teaching people how to calculate the money in their hand. I would also suggest that you can use the cards in conjunction with real change to help with understanding of real money. In fact they can be used in the same was as the money calculation "game" in the Brain Training games for the Nintendo DS.These are fun as well as educational for all the family.

Played this with my 7 year old Grandson who engaged and improved his money knowledge and skills. We started off with pairing/matching though as there are a lot of cards showing different amounts of money in mixed words, coins etc I think this needs to be done before attempting the Snap game to ensure child becomes familiar with amounts and fully understands concept.Very educational yet fun. Would recommended it for 6+ year olds.

Bought for a friends child. We already have the game(a gift) and I think its great. There are so many more games you can play besides snap and pairs. We play GO fish and use them as flash cards, so they resite whats on the card and/or immediately tell you what is the cards value. We also own the time cards...... not 4 of all, so GO fish will need to be tailored.

Great, except there's no 1p coin card, (at least not in my pack) but that's not a huge problem for playing snap, just annoying when I use it to get my SEN kids to practice matching the coins with the amounts, so it wouldn't apply to everyone. Also of course the £1 image will soon be out of date... but that's not their fault.

Love this snap game for my maths lesson. Children learn through play , especially the kinesthetic learner! The pound coin has changed but that can be rectified by talking to then and showing children the new one. Its no big deal and as a teacher I can't see it hindering their learning!Look fwd to buying the shapes snap.

This game does exactly as it says.I was weary after received some other Green Board Games which were of poor educational value but this one is great. It really does a great job and is fun to match together.Only suggestion would be that the card could be stronger to last a little longer on snap cards and box.

Bought these for my EAL students to learn about English/UK money. They have really enjoyed them and have also learnt how to play snap along the way. The £1 coin cards are with the old one pound coins but for my purposes that didn't matter as we will be learning about the new pound coin.

A great little pack to help children learn about money. There are two games but I have adapted them to suit different childrens needs.Very pleased and the children loved the games.

Decent pack of cards with common coin denominators. Though it only has the old £1 coins and no individual card for 1p.Other than that I am overall pleased with the pack of cards

A perfect tool for re-inforcing coin identification. It is easy to carry around and has provided extensive periods of fun and learning. Reasonably priced and delivered promptly.

Very versatile cards. Can play matching of coins to amount or same amounts with different coins. I play matching game with just a few at a time rather than snap. Most useful.

Great pack but would have liked to have seen a card showing a 1p as other coins are represented but no card showing 1p on its own. Otherwisel, a good pack.
