I'm an ex mechanic who still dabbles. I hate wearing gloves for anything intricate because I can't feel what I'm doing. Latex or rubber gloves are too hot and hands perspire which then fills the gloves with moisture which makes the gloves useless. But protecting our hands is important to avoid cuts and damage, also to make cleaning up easier.So I thought I'd try these. The palm and fingers are grippy rubber the backs elastic fabric which "breathes". They great, comfortable to wear for hours. They protect well from metal fragments and grip better than oily fingers and can be wiped clean with a clean paper towel quickly if you are going from a dirty job to clean. Yes my hands were hotter than without but not too much.

Every time I work on my bike I used to end up with scratched or bleeding hands, not to mention all that oil and grease. Yet every in YouTube bike video, plus in every bike shop in my area, the mechanics are wearing gloves just like these. Now I know why! Do your hands a favour and buy some!

I bought these as I couldn’t get disposable gloves so thought i would give them a try.They were much better than i expected and went in the washing machine and came out really clean. they are light and even though they are thicker than disposables you can still feel things well with them

Bought these for protecting my hands. I have dermatitis, and doing anything was agony. But these have worked a treat. They have been through the wash 5 times now, and still feel as if they will last a long time. I like that you can do delicate work with them. A good buy.

Have to say great protection working on you bike. The nips and scratches now non existent! Now waterproof though so if you get wet with water on cleaning fluid on a cold winter's day.... You'll soon know about it

Fit well, long cuffs also protect the wrist; Fine motor work with gloves is also possible; also help when working with sharp-edged metal parts

Not waterproof great gloves but nothing fantastic. Great for handling non greasy items like wheel changes etc.
