Drumond Park 1580 Mask N Ask Action, Board Game, MulticolouredI'm not normally one for board games, but this one looked interesting so I thought I'd give it a try.The outer box this was supplied in seems strong enough, it has fun images printed on the cover. When the contents are removed it becomes a bit of a disappointment as the game plus all of the playing pieces are stuffed inside a rather cheap and nasty looking moulded plastic insert. This moulded insert I'm sure will end up breaking or splitting over time. It's also not easy getting all the pieces neatly back in the box after use, the tendency would be to stuff the parts in out of frustration, then end up breaking the fragile plastic insert. There are quite a few parts to this game. You are supplied with a circular fold out board, this has animals printed on one side and humans on the other, you choose which to play with. The board is of reasonable quality although it looks as if it would easily tear apart if not treated with care as there is no reinforcing on the thin paper hinges. There are 4 different coloured plastic glasses along with corresponding playing counters. I wear prescription glasses, these plastic glasses do fit over my existing glasses but they are not comfortable when the mask is attached. You are also supplied with 30 masks to choose from, humans are printed on one side, animals on the other, so in effect there are 60 options to choose from. These masks attach to the provided plastic glasses. There are also 48 cardboard yes/no tokens which serve as a reminder when the game is played. These are supplied pre cut in a flat card, just pop them out with your finger. It would have been nice if these had been made from plastic or something a little more substantial rather than thin cardboard. This is quite a simple game, it's easy to play. Having said that, it is also great fun, especially for younger children who can play with a little assistance from an adult. The masks and glasses can become uncomfortable after a while especially if you wear specs.I do feel for such a great fun little board game, there is a certain amount of cheapness to it. This is a shame as it's a game that I'm sure would become a family favourite. I would have remove a couple of stars due to the build quality, but because of the sheer fun of this game, I feel I must add one of those back again.A great fun board game but handle with care!Contents -1 x Double sided board30 x Masks4 x Glasses4 x Playing pieces48 x Yes/No tokens1 x Game instructionsIf you have found my review at all helpful I would very much appreciate if you could click the 'Helpful' button below, thank you.

This review is for the Drumond Park 1580 Mask N Ask Action, Board Game, Multicoloured. This is a fun little board game that comes double sided and features many different human and animal masks. It’s very simple to play and has the ‘guess who’ element to it. Each side contains 30 different animals or humans and questions in relation to the either. One player wears the mask and has to guess which mask they are wearing. They do this by spinning the arrow in the middle of the board and ask the question which the arrow lands on to formulate their guess. Reminder tokens are provided which can be placed on the question that has already been answered. It’s a game that is easily comprehensible for kids and will provide the family with a lot of fun.We have a dedicated game night every friday now which my family play this.If you’re looking for a game you can play with the kids, I highly recommend this as its pretty fun.

Essentially a cross between Charades and Guess Who? This is recommended for those aged over 7 and is meant for 2-4 players. Supplied in a stout card box 10½” x 10½” x 2½” [27cm x 27cm x 6cm] it contains 30 masks for the players, a board with a spinner [which determines movement and indicates questions to be asked] and 4 player markers. The masks are printed both sides so there are 60 variations of people and animals. Unlike Guess Who? Questions are set, so even though you’ve played the game and know what’s printed on them, you still need the luck of the ‘spins’ to give you your question. There are opportunities to ask your own question.Ideal party game for youngsters.Personally I think the age rating could be lowered depending on the child/children playing. I presume the 7 rating is due to the fact that the masks are card and could become damaged by youngsters.Made by Drummond Park.

We bought this game for my daughter's 9th birthday as she had seen the advert and thought it looked really good. It's a much improved version of the 'Who Am I' game except you dress up in these clever masks. All of us sitting round with masks on, trying to guess who we were was hilarious - even my younger son who is quite shy and not really a board game fan enjoyed it, maybe because he was hiding behind a mask I don't know, but it was much more fun than I expected. With a good element of competition in the gameplay, and I think 60 masks in all - this makes a really good, long lasting board game and we will definitely be introducing it to family at Christmas!!

A very simple game, the game is the sort we’ve played with the sticky post it notes with a name stuck to the face, you ask questions to find out who you are, rather than sticky labels, this has masks that you pop on.You have 60 faces, 30 marks which have two faces on, one on each side, you have a board which you go round asking different questions, first to guess who they are wins. Its limited in once you’ve played it a number of times, you probably guess the mask quickly, however its fun while it lasts and is a bit of great family fun.

Really love this game. Simple, easy to remember rules. It says age 7 plus but my 6 year old granddaughter loved it and my 4 year old grandson was able to play with support and really enjoyed it.You have to guess who your mask is by asking yes or no questions a bit like guess who. You gave little reminder tokens to remind you if it was a yes or no answer and keep having your turn all the while you are getting yes answers.Great fun with two sides to the board animals and humans.Highly recommended

This is a fun and simple game. I think possibly not as fun (in terms of making you look silly) as some of them on the market but great for younger kids. Some of the games that are similar which use a beer mat format which clips onto your nose but these are aimed at adults. I think all children could play this game, even fairly young children so it would be a good game for the family. One to put under the Christmas tree!

I ordered this for my 7year old daughter knowing that the guidance is 8+ which I think so many people forget to observe . Expecting the worst that it was going to be extremely messy I was highly impressed how it wasn't that bad .We did the experiments together and it fascinated both my daughter and myself so I was impressed by product and outcome and of course as any child would my daughter loves it ..

Hilarious game. My 7 year old loved playing this and even my 4 year old had a go. There are so many different animals and people to guess it can go on for hours. This is a great game for getting the family together for a good old laugh, the game is super easy to play and takes seconds to set up. Brilliant concept and great game that I will be recommending to everyone!

Great family game - even those younger than seven can join in. Super way to learn whilst having fun, encouraging reading, listening and descriptive/reasoning powers. Simple rules, and can be played either easy with just animals or people, or harder with both combined. Terrific for Christmas get togethers and difficult to cheat so no fighting!

I'm a teacher and used this game with a group of children whose first language is not English. OMG! Year 8 absolutely loved it, not only is it fun, as it looks so cool, colourful, well-designed, but it's really educational too, as it promotes language use in a fun way! Absolutely great and highly recommended!

This game is aimed at 7-12 years and I would say that is spot on, however even the adults in this house enjoyed playing! It would make a great Christmas Day board game. There are lots of different masks included, all pieces are fairly good quality. Great fun for all the family.

Suitable for upto 4 players, you wear a pair of glasses and insert a card by your forehead. The game is straightforward and allows children to use their imagination in asking questions to work out who their character is.We have all enjoyed playing this.

Great game for my 5 year old. Fun for the adults playing too. We only use the animal sides so far as he has trouble knowing who some of the people on the other sides are so I guess it is a good game for older children too.

Excellent. Arrived quickly. Has provided hours of fun. Can separate the categories to make it easier or mix them up for a longer, trickier game. My 7 year old loves it, has been a great laugh to play. Highly recommend
