I know this was cheap, but I am very disappointed with the capacity of this UPS - even when apparently fully charged, it seemed only to be able to power my modest PC and monitor for a few minutes - barely enough to allow graceful close down.The interface is also very poor - hard to work out how to control the various options. Basically unusable for its original purpose, which was to protect the PC I use for my business. We're going to try using it on the internet router.

This is a bad UPS. I think it was designed back in 1980, because it has next to zero features (On/Off switch, that's IT), the software doesn't work properly with anything more modern that Windows 2000, and it's noisy. There's a CONSTANT buzz that is audible the whole way through the house.Thankfully, you can use Window's built in UPS software, which gets rid of one major issue. But, run time is useless, and that noise is unbearable.
