The lamp is just as cool a modern design item as I had expected. It is now hanging above my kitchen table. With 20W bulbs and a dimmer installed, it can be used both as a bright working light and as a soft light for sipping some wine.Now that regular light bulbs are banned in the EU, it might be tricky to find nice bulbs for this at the local shops (horrible energy savers with their gloomy light just won't do!), but there's always internet.
