Boy this thing's bright - it's hard to believe it's running on 1.5v from one AA battery! It's also tiny, especially for something so bright - it's about as long as an iPhone 4. Build and finish quality is very good; it has an attractive, quite grippy feeling matt black finish, although I'm not sure how hardwearing it'll be. It doesn't look like an anodised finish, more like a painted coating.Focusing works well with one hand, the simple slide back and forward producing a useful range of beam from quite a tight spot (maybe 100 mm at 1m ish?) to a very wide and evenly illuminated circle of light (more than 1m wide at 2m distance or so)This wide beam is so evenly spread I could imagine photographic applications,

This is an solid, well-built, very bright and physically compact/convenient torch. It's not the cheapest but is great value for money.I have removed 1 star only because battery life is so short. I have had mine for about a year, but only really used it in total for an hour or so (it's just an emergency/spare torch). Today I needed to use it, and it started 'playing up', by only turning on 1 time out of every 3 I pressed the button. I assumed it was broken and was quite annoyed. However I put a new battery in, and now it's working fine, so I assume that the LED needs a certain minimum voltage and then it stops not working, rather than going dimmer.As long as you're aware that a Duracell Ultra only lasts about an hour of use,

I have purchased many LED Lenser torches and this is my new favourite! For the size the lumens it produces are amazing. I carry this a lot either when walking the dog or when attending work at night on a call out and it is ideal. One AA battery to power it too is perfect. It is a marked improvement over my version 1 P5 which the wife now uses regularly as it is still as new.

Brilliant torch !I've gone through a lot of torches, this is the first one I've had that hasn't missed a beat. No flickering, dodgy contacts, poor switches ! it actually does what it's meant to and does it very well. (Just don't shine it in your eyes or you'll be blundering around trying to figure out where everything went !)

This was bought as a gift for my mum so I can only pass on her comments,She loves this torch and uses it while walking the dog in the counrtyside (no streetlights), She says its really bright and the batteries last well, She's since bought a couple more LED Lenser torches and swears by them

Small very bright 140 lumens on a single AA battry 5 hour's run timeI had LED LENSER'S before solid build qualityHad one replaced a faulty switch after six yearsOf use not bad at all also had other brands in the past most are no longer workinMost likley my next one will be a lenser too

This is a superb quality small torch. Extremely bright and usable and slips into a pocket with ease. Terrific for holidays, treks and now lives besdies the bed! Worth the extra for the feel and quality, should last a very long time, its quite tough too.

Use for work in Emergency Services, better than torches issued and has not let me down yet! Case os good quality and attaches to belt. Has taken a beating over the pasy 6 months and is still going strong. Batteries changed once.

Great torch, I use it for camping and trekking at night. Very bright with a super easy and effective 'zoom', light weight and the battery life (with a non rechargable decent quality battery) easily lasts me 5 hours and more.

Gosh! Excellent is all I can say.I did wonder about spending quite this much on an LED torch when there are much cheaper options available but I'm so glad I did. This torch exudes quality and is absolutely 1st class.

Be nice if it had the twist lock function on the head but that's nitpicking really. For the price it's brilliant and amazing that a torch this small can be so bright and have such good range. Fromm one AA battery too.

Bought as a present for a trainee paramedic. I'm a big fan of the Ledlenser brand good strong torches well suited to everyday use.Light has good range and width and yet still able to be put in pocket, recommended

Excellent product, high quality, lightweight, pocketable and powerful for its size. My only gripe is that the focusing device is a bit too stiff to operate with one finger however this may free up with more usage.

Great little torch - smaller than I expected but very powerful with just one AA battery. A missing accessory was replaced by the seller without quibble with quick response . Good product and Seller. Recommended.
