This review mainly relates to the service we had from Visani & Amazon. It was very efficient and the item arrived quickly and with no external damage. This is a gift to a 3 year old girl. It was smaller than we envisaged, but will suit a 3 year old well. We have not opened the packaging, but just looked at it, and it looks very decent quality. Ideally, this review should wait 6 months, but we're optimistic it will be reasonable and at least sound good. Tuning will be a bonus! Visually, it is great, and will hopefully inspire her to try and play something. Potentially, a great gift.

This is excellent. The child I gave it to loves it. He's only two and five months so a little under the age and therefore needs a little guidance on understanding the need to use it with a little care. But it's strong and looks great, is a good size, has a proper tuning system and proper strings. It makes a lovely sound. I've not rated it for durability because I've only just bought it.

The new owner of this Peek-a-Boo LapPup Baby Toy is a little over eight months old. He likes to open and close the lid. He doesn't notice the peek-a-boo hands really, because the action is kind of slow. When he can push the buttons, and get some kind of response from it, I think he will interact with it in more ways. For now, opening and closing the lid is good, it gives him a focus.

This is a cute little guitar. We got it for our 2 year old twins to inspire them with making music. The strings can be tuned up to standard tuning however the frets don’t give correct intonations so it’s not playable in that respect. It wouldn’t work for teaching a child but is great for introducing them to very basic concepts and seeing how interested they are in playing.

I love the vibrant colours and the details. The quality for the price is quite impressive. For a little one who you want to introduce to guitar playing this item is ideal. I expected plastic strings but they are actually metal with a spare set and a little plectrum. Delighted with the purchase. My granddaughter will be delighted with this on Christmas Day.

My 5 month old daughter absolutely loves this. Her little face lights up the second you open it.This actually broke 2 months after having it. Leapfrog wanted me to pay to post it to Ireland for them the “investigate the product” then decide whether they would send me a replacement. I found their customer service shockingly bad.

Got it for my granddaughter who is 2.5 not that she can get a tune but she absolutely loves it, from the moment she wakes she is strumming away and singing twinkle twinkle, so I love it she loves it and my daughter hates my for buying it?

This is the 3rd one I've purchased. My youngest granddaughter always makes a beeline for her twin cousins guitars when she visits so Christmas was a perfect time to get her her own. Who knows we may have the beginnings of a trio!

My son loves this toy so much that we bought a second one. Have no complaints we leave it switched on all the time, and it turns off then u close it down and turns on when u open it. SimpleToy but it’s one of his favourites

Got this for a birthday present earlier in the year and it’s still going strong. Mainly thanks to the fact that it has proper metal strings rather than the plastic type ones others have. Children enjoy using it.

Absolutely love this guitar because my son loves it. It's a really great size for toddlers to handle. I wouldn't class it as a toy because it's really just a smaller version of the real thing.

My 2 year old loves his guitar and we regularly watch him playing along to music on tv. A strap would make it perfect. I thought about adding one myself but think the plastic (?) would split.

It plays like a guitar! Can be tuned. Strings are tuneful yet good for the soft hands of a young child. excellent instrument for encouraging a child.Perfect size for a 4 to 6 year old.

Perfect little guitar for my daughter. Vibrant colours and durable. Compact so it can be stowed away with other toys. Recommended if you want something cheap and cheerful.
