? ‘The flags and capitals of 80 countries ~ all the pieces are different’…that is, each flag is a little different around the edges and once they are all out of the frame, you need to know your capitals to match them to the correct country back in the grid, for there are no clues! Each will only fit back in the correct place. The crisp white coloured cardboard frame measures around 36 cm x 28 cm x 0.5 cm overall with rounded corners. In a reasonable sized black font for the size of puzzle, IMO, it has the continents & Pacific/Indian Ocean down the edges and the countries running across left to right.16 x 1 cm diameter holes down the middle on the back aid the removal of the first flags, making it easier to flick out the other four in each bank of 5. Some were a little tight on the initial extraction and resulted in a slight raggedness around the edges and some cardboard dust.Once all the flags are back in the frame, the pieces remain tightly packed together so it can display on a stand at an angle, in my experience (image below refers).I am not sure if this will be the case on multiple replacing of the flags. It is a pity that the general product detail & bar code is dotted around the frame and not on the back of the puzzle, as it does draw the eye, in my experience.ooOoo~ LARSEN~ FLAGS x 80~ CODE L2/GB‘Made in Norway’? ‘Not suitable for children under 3 years of age’[22 images attached © L.A. This review is for the Large L2 flag puzzle. The product arrived well packaged and on time. The arrive as in the photo covered in clear plastic sheet, which was not overly impressive. the puzzle is not really a puzzle as you and I would classify it. its rather a slot in the pieces type puzzle. On the board it self you have all the countries listed. On the puzzle pieces you have a flag and the capital city of the country. You then have to match the capital city to the country / flag.its made from good quality card and should last a while. I personally have been using to teach my kids different flags and capital cities - pretty hand for this.Overall its good quality just not really what I expected.Would recommend though.

This is a puzzle. Less of the interlocking variety but more about memory recollection, matching countries and capital cities to the flags that they display. It is linked to the continents and there are 80 flags and capitals displayed. All the pieces are different with atypical puzzle border pieces - the cut of each side is different. This is quite a sophisticated puzzle but is great for older children. Some of the capital cities are new to me - so this is also interesting from an adult perspective. With the rise of separatism and nationalism, the information on this puzzle may well change over time. The puzzle comes with its own in-built frame and the cardboard is sturdy and robust.

I purchased another slightly different version of this puzzle 20+ years ago and can say that this was extremely well used. Not only did my 3 children enjoy this but also the rest of the family, as we got more familiar with the flags , capital cities etc we started to time each other to see who could finish it quickest. Years later we are still very familiar with the information on this puzzle and can be used an excellent teaching tool. The pieces are slightly different and cannot be forced to into the gaps so is very durable. The only reason we don't use the 20 year old one for my grand children is because some of the names have changed.Highly recommended.

My 7 year-old daughter is really interested in learning more about the world so this “puzzle” was really well received. We realised that we didn’t know as much as we thought! You have to match the flags and capitals with the countries. It also adds a reference to the continent which helps when learning geography. The board is very sturdy and it won’t bend easily. The detail on the flags is really good, helping children to identify these flags elsewhere. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with a box or anything to store it. We have used a ziploc bag and just try to keep them together when it’s not being used but this is not ideal.

This is a fun education game for older children and adults alike. Yes it’s called a puzzle but it’s more of a ‘test your knowledge quiz.’Each slot has a country name on it and you have to match it with the piece (capital city name and flag). There are 80 pieces to this so plenty of opportunity to test what you know. Also great for older children who are learning world places in geography. We played this among 4 adults as a game and really enjoyed it.Board is sturdy so will withstand quite a bit of use.Price is reflective of quality.

We love this puzzle! It was my favourite puzzle as a child and I just bought an up to date version from my 12 year old daughter and she loves it just as much as I did. She has already completed it 7 times trying to learn all the flags and capitals and we have only had it for less than 24 hours. Great play value, very well made (the pieces are strong, my 80s version is still like new), the edges are all subtly different so the shapes don't help you but they only fit in the correct place so you can't go wrong. Thanks Larsen Puzzles!

This isn’t really a puzzle - it’s a board where the flags slot into. It’s about A3 sized (maybe a touch smaller) and it’s good quality. Pretty educational and a great way to learn the flag.We played a game to see who could get them all in and correct in the fastest time in teams - kids against adults! We made it more fun by having penalties and forfeits for mistakes for the adults.Lots of potential for games and activities.

I love educational games. This is great. You can match flags (containing capitol of country on a tag) with correct country. Or just use it as poster.Countries are decided into continents.80 flags/countries/capitols in total. When put in row tags need to match with each other (the cut pattern of each edge is different)Overall great educational game for not only kids.Highly recommended.

Wicked puzzle to learn along the way. Much fun to be had working through this with your kids and just as enjoyable doing it on your own too.Built in tray which is the back of the puzzle as you unwrap it so once it has been completed you can easily move it around.Brilliant learning puzzle to be fair.

This is a good educational tool to help kids learn the capital cities. My only issue is it's not really a puzzle. Once you tip the pieces out each piece will only go back in the right place but the only way to do this actually know the answer. It's educational but not that much fun for youngsters.

This item arrived safe and well packaged. This is a fun little jigsaw puzzle. Perfect for children. The print contains a huge array of flags from around the world... a great things for kids to learn and in a super fun way! It is often missed out on school syllabus!I highly recommend this product.

I wouldn't really call this a jigsaw puzzle, its a game where you match peices of the flag to each country comes with 80 peicesIts actually quite good for educational purposes, children learn through play so this is perfect for that and its affordable

A couple of the capitals/countries are written in local language rather than English, so a slight lack of consistency there.Regardless, the puzzle is great and my son loves it, only thing to improve it would be to add more flags to it!
