No box....just a reminder for those reviewing this and any other Larsen puzzle that this item does NOT come with a box. Look at he pictures and description....We love the puzzles made by this company. They’re all educational and really do help to teach kids about the various parts of the world. This is one of Great Britain and Ireland which is fantastic. All the pieces are different shapes and that itself helps to recognise where they go just that little bit more.I like the fact the box isn’t present and the back of this puzzle is in fact a tray thing. Easy to store away flat on a unit or bookshelf.A well made and informative puzzle.Happy kids happy daddy hehe.....

My son is 8 and non-verbal with ASD. I cannot recommend these puzzles highly enough. He absolutely loves doing them, the irregular shapes highlights his super attention to detail as he can pick out from several similar looking pieces, the correct one in a flash. For a child who cannot do so many of the things his peers can this is an excellent confidence booster and also allows him to focus on a task until it is completed. He has 4 of them now and just gets quicker and quicker at them. Of course, they may not appeal to every child with ASD but it certainly shows how acutely a child with ASD sees the world, and see the detail which we mortals can easily miss.

This puzzle is fab!It has all the main places on and is very educational.The shapes of the pieces are interesting (including a dolphin shape, a boat and a bird...)and makes the 80 piece puzzle a bit more interesting than your normal jigsaw, but also a little bit more difficult. Younger children will require help.The grooves of the shape of the pieces are on the base board but don’t think this makes any easier.I got this to help my ten year old with his geography of the Uk and I feel it’s the perfect difficulty, Keeps him occupied and looking for the places he knows, whilst teaching him too! Win win!

This jigsaw is slightly different, as the pieces fit into a tray, which makes it easy to make and also easy to store. This is an 80 piece jigsaw, which is very details. My daughter is currently struggling with geography and this is a good way of introducing the places around the UK and Ireland, in an easy to learn way. It includes flags, seas and oceans (my daughter is now aware of the Celtic, as well as the Irish Sea!), cities and islands. Very educational, well-designed and good fun.

This is a well-designed British Isles map jigsaw. It is great not only for developing kids' logic and problem-solving skills, but also for improving their geography knowledge.I also really like how some of the pieces are shaped like animals - gulls, dolphins, etc. It adds a little bit more educational value - and fun.The jigsaw is well made, and it looks like a quality product that will last for years.

A very well made puzzle. This has a really quality to it. The printing is perfect. The text is clear. The puzzle peices offer a good amount of difficulty.My only criticism is that it does not come in a box. It arrives in a plastic wrapping. But once it is out of that there is a chance puzzle peices will go missing. If it was supplied with a box then it would be a five star product.

My 10yo enjoyed this, he has a keen interest in maps and geography. The materials are of good quality and the printing is clear. A single star deducted as the pieces have round edges which means they are just a little too easily knocked out of place as you build the map, but this is a minor quibble.

This item arrived safe and well packaged.What a map... what a jigsaw!! They have very cleverly combined this great map with a genius jigsaw puzzle. It is thick and very high quality It also has many special touches, such as pieces in the shape of figures etc.I highly recommend this product.

Good product. Two things could be improved: a) counties could be usefully included; b) shapes of pieces could be less arbitrary, they seem to be neither regular "jigsaw" shape, nor reflecting the geography it represents. With either of these it would be a 5.

This jigsaw doesn't take long to complete -there are not many pieces which takes a lot of the fun away.However if you only have one table you may need too use it and therefore would be glad it didn't take so long to do

This should be labelled as jigsaws for adults who need to learn about the different parts of the country... As I didn't even know some of these places existed!!!! Using a jigsaw means you have to read the places ...

This Larsen K5 Great Britain & Ireland Physical Map is quite good, very comfortable very interesting, it helps you to improve your geographical knowledge, and which is of a pretty good quality.

Perfect for home schooling .i wanted my children ( age 7,9 ) to have an understanding of where we are in the uk and places we visit . This is perfect fit that . Great quality .

Wish you'd leave out the silly question about what I used it for and limit it to appropriate items only.I enjoyed the jigsaw. It is fun and educational.

A really lovely puzzle which is well made and easy to pop out and take apart. Ideal For kids who love a challenge and very educational too.
