Great for certain binoculars.If your binoculars have the narrow type of body hinge or bridge See link to image below, then this tripod mount is for you. It fits my Zeiss Dyalit 7x42B, binoculars, but many modern binoculars may have a focusing knob located around the body hinge or bridge, in which case this tripod mount may not fit. It did not fit another pair of binoculars with a rocking focus knob where the clamp would need to go.Sorry link not permitted.Search for parts of binoculars image

The adaptor fits any tripod with a standard 1/4 inch screw fitted, typically a camera tripod. The height is sufficient to ensure clearance from the screw fitting and the adjuster knob does not protrude sufficiently to interefere with the side of the binocular (unlike some similar more expensive products). Ideal for activities such as bird-watching or astronomy, for example.

This adjustable binocular to tripod clamp is the only available clamp I've been able to find for use with older style binoculars that don't have a screw hole in the front of the central tube. My 1980's vintage U. S. Naval binoculars work well with these. I have also used it in on civilian 8x40s and civilian 10x50 binoculars. Well made. Durable. Get it.

Recently I bought this adapter and I was blown away. The quality is excellent. Build is strong and without fiddling pieces. I can use it on my older binoculars that have no option for L adapter. Also when ataching this adapter to bino, I thins it is more rigid than using classic L adapter.I strongly recommend this item.

Good Product but too wide at top where it clamps onto my optolyth binoculars, thus limiting the amount of possible adjustment for inter eye distance. Would be fine where there is more room in the clamping area for the binoculars to fold.

Had one of these a number of years ago and they seem to be a bit rare in these days of predominantly roof-prism binoculars.Bit expensive for what it is but certainly good quality. Would have been happy paying half the amount.

This tripod adapter is small, light yet sturdy and easily attached to the binocular. It is well designed and I am very satisfied. A very good value.

I searched for ages trying to find a way of attaching my West German Zeiss 15x60 binoculars to a tripod. In my opinion this works very well

It just WORK'S.Fine thread so stay's locked on and secure,will fit small to medium binoculars of the old style with a centre bar.

Fits 'old style' bino's a treat ( - can now use them on a tripod.without a screw thread adaptor.
