i bought these not because i'm a mountaineer, nor even a hiker, but fir use in my powerchair. being disabled, i still get out and my wheelchair does 30mph, so i needed something that would not only blick out the sun, but also give some wind protection. the vermont fir the bill perfectly. very light, and extremely comfortable with the soft leather on the bridge. having ,the arms wrap round the ear feels a bit odd at first, but takes only a couple of hours to get used to. in terms of vision, i can't fault them - crystal clear lenses, and no glare at all. used them from morning through to late evening, and vision is exceptional.. lastly the look is brilliant! now, being in a wheelchair,

I was a little apprehensive about getting these glasses, but as I have a large collection already I just had to give them a try. I needn't have been concerned, these have turned out to be among my favourite shades of all time. The quality of construction is top notch and they are really relaxing on the eyes, I particularly love the steampunk cool factor, simply wonderful. They're very comfortable to wear and look quite robust, the only thing I would have preferred is the polycarbonate lenses to be glass. They do make them but are in limited supply and are hard to get hold of, I've tried and have yet not been successful, also the glass version is about for times as expensive as these. However,

These were great - they were used when on research in Antarctica, and in Namibia - any bright sun and they have you covered. They're non polarized, which is PERFECT if you have to use screens at all while in the sun. The arms have a soft rubber coating, with a flexible wire inside which is very comfy around the ear, and holds them in place at all head angles. However, the wire in one side of these came loose, and then fell out somewhere - resulting in one very floppy arm. Annoying to happen when you're in the middle of nowhere, but in fairness they were replaced next day when this was reported. Would recommend to anyone with eyes sensitive to long sun exposure.

I received my Julbo Vermont glasses and I am delighted. I had ordered Dakine snowboard pants with it and I received an email telling me that it was not in stock. The email clearly stated that I could either wait for the product before my order was sent, replace it, or cancel it. I waited a week before asking again where my order was and I was told very quickly that the pants were available, but that I had to wait. No longer wishing to wait, I canceled my pants order and my glasses were sent as scheduled the same day. I received them about ten days later (and I'm still waiting to know if I'm going to pay customs fees on them or not, we'll see).

Decided to buy after learning their story! I bought it blindly - before that I had not seen them close. Delivery to Moscow - 10 days. Impress! Made very high quality, seem strong, look gorgeous! Ideal for a narrow face, on average, the pressure of the arches is felt and leather curtains cut tightly into the eyebrows in the eyebrows! But not critical - the skin on the curtains is not thin, but soft! On a broad face do not fit! Lenses are nice, darken medium on my estimation! In the conditions for which they are intended, I did not check, but what a distrust of the legend could be!

Coming from a remote town in Australia, I’m always sceptical about buying online, as sometimes parcels don’t make it here, especially as we don’t have letter boxes, only Post Office Boxes. However the glasses arrived right on time, and I could track them the whole way to the closest major city (Perth), then I called TNT and they advised Australia Pist had taken them to Broome. As far as the glasses go- I love them. Well made, good size, sturdy and fit well. Very satisfied with process.

Wore these mountaineering in backcountry Australia. It was a very warm day with no clouds in the sky. Rarely fogged up with crystal clear visibility. Blocked out the strong UV light that day perfectly (category 4). So well in fact I had to keep briefly taking them off my eyes to remind myself how bright it was on the snow - so I would sunscreen/cover up my skin against sunburn enough.

Comfortable glasses and does not press anywhere but sits firmly on the head, even in the fiercest device of the amusement park. The side guards are not just for looks, but really block light from the side. The field of view is better than I expected for glasses where there are side guards. I can recommend to everyone. Good shopping once and for all. A +++

I was looking for glasses for my work that protect both the sun in class 4 (I have very clear eyes) and dust, with an original look ... I am not disappointed with my purchase, even if the wearing them for a few hours is felt in the nose and behind the ears ... And I also like the contrast they bring to the colors ...

Excellent and fast delivery service. Fantastic glasses, not to be used in an urban environment, except in the brightest hours. Perfect glasses for the mountain environment: they adhere well to every part of the face, protecting eyes and nose, and very effectively protect from light. Recommended

The product is as shown in the photos (the lenses, however, are a little darker, tending to black in the black version) and arrived within the established time frame. The workmanship is excellent and the various leather parts are removable to ensure versatility. Excellent lenses.

Absolute awesome product! It's really dark, so don't drive or ride your bike wearing this. I did that a few time (riding a pushbike) and it's quite restricts your vision.It fits perfectly, stays there whatever you do, it's convenient, very lightweight and looks brilliant.

Incredible finish, excellent quality at the best cost. Only the color of the leather of the photo varies a lot, it is almost black and it is really a very clear marine blue. They are comfortable however at the beginning it hurts a little the frame of the ear.

Fantastic glasses man, I live in the Arctic and these are the most hardcore/hard duty/ and fashionable glasses in the game. Great Trekkin delivery and great company with super customer service (had a question about delivery and was helped within 1 day).
