03-19-2012The item advertised and paid for was a NEW pair of Oakley Flak Jacket sunglasses with polarized lenses. The item I received was used and the lenses are not polarized. The retail box was beat up and taped together with scotch tape. The shipping box was also abused in some matter. I am very displeased and unsatisfied!03-21-2012After submitting my review above, I was contacted by Amazon about the issues stated. I was first offered a link to purchase another pair of sunglasses with the correct lenses. I was assured that this was a one time error. I told the Customer Service Representative that that was an unsatisfactory offer because it was Amazon's error for not checking the contents of another customers return.

I love these glasses. I had the same exact pair for several years and lost them recently. I had been watching amazon for some time and found these glasses at an unbeatable price. I received them as promised and all the extras were there. My only complaint would be that there is several small scratches in the bottom corner of the right side lens. This set of glasses has the xlj lenses and the sratches aren't in my line of sight so I didn't make a big deal about it. It is unfortunate that I didn't recieve a perfect pair. These lenses are 90.00 a pair so replacing them will be expensive. However I do know that had I contacted amazon they would have made it right. Their customer service has always been exceptional.

I was a little unsure of buying these at the price, but after receiving them, I) think they are well worth it.These glasses come with the minor details all in place: different sie nose pieces (to adjust fit), soft carrying bag, hard carrying case, warranty information, and instructions on how to replace the nose pieces and lenses. The hard carrying case not only holds the glasses, but looks to have room for two sets of replacement lenses (not included), so you can adjust the level of tint without having to carry multiple frames.The glasses themselves are aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and comfortable to wear. I have a rather large head (size 7 7/8 hat), and these fit close to the head,

I work in a very bright and sunny desert environment with constant blowing sand. I have owned several sunglasses from various manufacturers over the years as well as a couple from Oakley. Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ are the best overall that I have ever worn. I've worn prescription glasses for more than 20+ years with costs exceeding $350.00 a pair and was always having difficulty with my eyes. The Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ are non prescription and I no longer have problem with my eyes as with my prescription glasses. This is the best investment I could have made and I highly recommend these sunglasses. Take the test, Try Oakley First and you will not be disappointed. These sunglasses are so good,

I have had a pair of these before, I am a professional landscaper/ home handy man and these glasses are amazing for summertime sun. I wore the old pair so much I had tan lines from them. The only reason I had to reorder is because my old pair was broken from tripping and falling head first into some landscape timbers. These are quality glasses and you cannot go wrong with them. They are well worth the money. Oakley does make a quality product and I would even venture to say they are one of the best glasses manufactures in the industry. Shipping was prompt and I really like the polarized feature.

These sunglasses are awesome! They are extremely comfortable and they block the sun very well. The polarized lenses make a huge difference when walking/driving into the sun as they allow you to see what you are doing without having to squint. The only problem I have with them is that my eyelashes, which are decently long for a guy, sometimes brush up against the inside of the lenses but most guys won't have this problem. I have not worn them while playing sports so I do not have information to give on that subject, though I am sure the ear socks have enough grip to stay on your face during exercise. These sunglasses are sleek and they get the job done. Overall, I am extremely satisfied.

This is literally my first review of any product. I don't usually write reviews or recommend stuff but these new sunglasses I bought are simply awesome. I needed new sunglasses as I lost my old ones and the eye doctor wants me to wear polarized sunglasses with 100% UV protection when I am playing golf. After searching and reading reviews of many products, I bought "Oakley Men's Flak Jacket XLJ Polarized Sunglasses" from Amazon. These glasses fit very well, the lens is of very high quality, they are wrap around and provide full protection, they reduce glares and when it is bright and sunny outside, these glasses literally cool your eyes. Well worth the price.

Great construction, snug fit, the pouch they come with is awesome. The mirrored lenses are dark enough to make a difference against glare, but still work great in the shade.When I'm parking my truck in the garage (a bit of a tight fit), I have to take 'em off even with the garage light on. The lenses stay smudge free a lot longer if you're careful with them and keep them in the pouch when not in use; they'll last a very long time.I've only had a lens pop out once when the glasses fell out of my pocket. It took me a minute to figure out the best way to get them back in, but that's normal.Awesome glasses, I expect to have them for a very long time to come.

I did a lot of research before purchasing my Flak Jacket XLJ Polarized sunglasses. I was comparing Oakley with other brands and as well wondering if I had to buy Polarized after reading a few bad reviews.I'm very happy to have purchased it! The fit is great and very comfortable. Its very light in weight and the grip is very good that it can NEVER fall off your face. The coverage is good because of the extra protrusion in XLJ glasses that wouldn't be in the other. I do wear my regular prescription glasses at work but never miss to carry/wear my sunglasses whenever I move out/drive.My wife is full of praises for my sunglasses. :)

A friend told me about these wonderful glasses and after reading a few reviews on the Oakley website, I decided this model was best for me. I use them for playing tennis and after the last 2-matches I am convinced they are the best sunglasses I ever owned. They don't fog up in 90-degree and extremely humid conditions on the court. I can finally serve a tennis ball in the high noon sun and still see the ball from my high toss. The Flak Jacket are very comfortable and lightweight. I do recommend the polarized lenses for there is virtually no glare. I would recommend this eyeware to all my friends, without a doubt.

Solid overall and all around performer for most any occasion. One of the he Oakley insignia on the arms fell off so I removed the other one for balance :-) I wear them everyday and I ditched the black iridium lenses after a scratch for some revant elite oxbow amber polarized lenses. They haven't gotten rave reviews, but for everyday and any-day wear you can't beat an amber tone vs. a dark tone that is made primarily for super bright days. If Oakley would have offered their Titanium iridium lenses for the Flak jacket XLJ I would have gotten them, but the replacement lens options from Oakley, IMO, were limited.

Awesome shades!!!!!!! I ordered and send back 4 different brands looking for the perfect sunglasses for me. I did not want to spend the $ these cost, but I figured I would put them in my will. They fit great, the lens quality is unsurpassed and they are built to last. Planing on getting a couple of extra lens for them and if I lose them I will offer a huge reward for their safe return. You wont go wrong with these. Wasn't there a song about cheap sunglasses? Well, there is a quantum leap between these and cheap sunglasses.

I wear these daily, and they were a replacement for the first pair that I had bought used off of another site, but lost. I wore these suckers to Mexico, and I wear them daily on my commute, even on the motorcycle. I love the polarized lenses and the effect they give. Just had to get used to them first, as the first few days I had headaches from the lenses as I'd never had polarized lenses before. Quality is fantastic, too. I expected nothing less from Oakley. Great for cops, trust me!

I've always liked Oakley's, as pricey as they are. I like the polarised lens on these as they significantly reduce glare. I own other sunglasses, but if I wear them continuously for a period of time - an hour or more, I feel heat behind the ears and they start to feel a bit weighty on my nose. These Oakley's have a very light frame which makes them very comfortable to wear.Mine came from a seller in Germany and I had them within a week of ordering! I was quite impressed.

it is so difficult to find a pair of glasses that fit, are polarized, durable, and "Cool", but i hit the nail on the head with these. i just got my brother a pair for christmas. I've had mine for over two years now and they are still going strong. i raplaced the lenses because i don't take great care of my glasses and end up tossing them around all the time. when it comes time for a new pair, i'm getting the same ones. hopefully they still exist at that time.
