This, along with its Jo Malone stablemate the Oud and Velvet Rose fragrance, are masterful examples of how to use oud.In this particular fragrance it is immediately distinctive yet remains subtle. A nice mid warmth to it, despite bergamot being the billed ingredient . At the base, the oud is prsesent but never totally dominant.My one criticism is this bottle bought in 2017 doesn't last long on the skin. My recollection is that the one I bought a few years ago lasted very long. I wonder if it has been reformulated.Anyway well worth buying.

Smell fades TOO quickly..£152? You expect it to last a few hours. No one comments..im guessing as they cant smell it!!
