This cap is made to the usual high Jack Wolfskin standard, is good looking and comfortable to wear.The peak does NOT fold like the previous model (as stated in another review) nor like it does on the JW Huntington windproof cap. I emailed JW to get clarification, before I made my purchase, and was told that the Activate cap DID have a folding peak but that the stitching was concealed and did not appear in the online photos. This is NOT correct and I was misled, in my opinion. There is a certain amount of flex in the peak but insufficient to fold it flat. The peak CAN be tucked into the crown of the cap so it will lay flat but will not make as small a package as the outgoing model (around twice the size).There is no adjustment,unlike the old version, simply an elasticated band, so buyers need to purchase the correct size; mine is the large size and fits OK.The item was supplied via Amazon by Chelston Direct who delivered the item on time and sufficiently packaged at a good price. In my view, the cap is reasonable value as purchased but it is certainly not worth paying the full price for.Only 3 stars given for the reasons stated.UPDATE: The Jack Wolfskin paw print logo has split at 2 points where the crown is stitched to the peak (the logo continues from the crown onto the peak and appears to have been stitched through and it has cracked where it bends). In my view this is a stress fracture and that part of the paw print is now peeling off, ruining the good looks and style of the cap. It is outside the 30 day returns period (item was purchased 6.4.19) and the market place seller, Chelston Direct, are citing wear and tear and will not enter into further discussion. Jack Wolfskin have a 2 year warranty on their goods and I am appealing to them for a replacement under their warranty; a decision is currently awaited (as at 22.7.19). I cannot, in fairness to prospective purchasers, recommend Chelston Direct as a seller. Pending a satisfactory response from Jack Wolfskin customer service,RESOLUTION;Chelston Direct eventually obtained a replacement from JW who agreed the item was defective. Wrong colour supplied, but acceptable! I would not purchase this item again.
