Stylish, lightweight, minimalist perfect...so I bought another one. If you are searching for the perfect hat for travel then you have found it. I was surfing YouTube for tips on how to pack for an extended weekend we planned to Paris. I stumbled upon the comprehensive video by Zeke's Nice Industries entitled, "Best One Bag Travel Minimalist Ultralight Gear and Packing List. I bought the hat and it was perfect. It folded so small, I tucked it into my side pocket on my day pack. Annually we travel to Disney for a week in the winter and I took this hat. My sister looks great in any hat and she of course looked great and now she wants one. My niece, who I had to beg to try the hat on (because she insisted she looks horrible in hats)

I like this hat a lot! I'm no stranger to Sunday Afternoons sun hats. I have the Sport hat, Adventure hat, and Ultra Adventure hat. I've discovered that I really like to have a folding bill. The Sport and Adventure hats are great, but harder to pack away when you take them off.The Sun Tripper is light, fits my head really well, and shields my eyes. It's great for days you don't don't want to look like you're on safari. I'll never replace the Sunday Afternoons hats with the large brims and neck capes, but some days they aren't necessary. On those days, the Sun Tripper is perfect.Pros: light, comfortable, foldable, resists light rain, stays on in the wind.

This was my first cadet style hat. On first look, the material is of high quality, and feels like it will last a long time. The folding bill is a great feature when you want to store it away on the go. I can easily get a perfect fit with the adjustable elastic drawstring at the back. I like the shape it has when worn, it fits the shape of your head niicely. With its vents, my head feels cooler than a traditional cap. It does not have a hole at the back to put ponytails through, but it doesn't bother me at all since I am a guy with short hair. Even with the shorter bill, it still protects my eyes from the sun without any problems. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hat.

I'm a bald guy, so finding good sun protection is important. This hat meets all expectations. I've worn this hat on the East Coast on 80-90 degree sunny days, and in the Mid-East in 110+ weather with no shade. The hat protected my head in moderate and extreme heat, and the vents ensured great ventilation. Other hats I've worn trap heat and cause excess sweating, this hat keeps you cool. The foldable brim was a huge bonus as I went in and out of buildings, being able to quickly pocket the hat without damaging it. I recommend this hat for people who want good sun protection and ventilation. It's not good for cool / cold and windy days -- but that's not the purpose of this hat.

What's not to love! I live in a Beach town on an island off the Texas coast. What this means is I am outdoors ALOT and have worn a lot of caps and hats over the years! This the best hat I ever had. The quality of material is very good, fits perfect and additional functions like clamshell brim and secrete pocket it's amazing addition. For the price you pay ( not chip for hat) you are getting hat for many years as the quality is SO excellent and the price you pay will paid of during years as you will not need to by any other hats for long time. I had bought before chipper hats with metal adjustment and some metal decor and after summer and vacation it's all corrosive and not looking nice. This hat looks like I will use it for forever! Very happy and recommend to anyone. It will replace all my hats that did not last long in good shape.

This is a perfect cap that you could wear everyday, any season, anywhere. It's very light and has vents for airflow. It's very stylish, very comfortable and protects you from harmful UV rays. I plan on buying at least two more in different colors.My only gripe is cleaning the cap (hand clean only). I accidentally left the cap in the bathroom and my wife put it in the washing machine. The cap after being air dried had loose threading and a light spot on the crown of the cap. Giving the impression of perspiration on the sides. No matter how many times I hand cleaned it afterwards I still had the light spot.

I love this hat. I literally forget I’m wearing it, it’s so light and comfortable. The fabric is so sun protective that I can wear the black and dark grey and they keep my head as cool as the lighter colors. The elastic cord is super stretchy and adjustable, so if in doubt, size up—you can cinch it up for a comfy, secure fit. It’s flattering, and sharper looking than a baseball cap. The cord and toggle make it awkward to turn backwards if you need to for visibility or using a camera or something. I took one star off for sun protection because the visor is low profile. It makes it good for visibility and mobility, but it will not shade your entire face. Surprisingly good in wet weather, too.

I bought this to replace the exact same hat I had been wearing for the past 2 years. I was so devastated when I realized I left my favorite hat at a rest stop during a family road trip. I immediately went online to Amazon to see if I could find a replacement. Luckily they had the same hat - except it isn't exactly the same. I ordered a medium and it was quiet large. I used the string in the back to tighten the hat, but it still feels bigger than my old hat. I wish they had an option to order a size small. I can't image what a size large would be like! Overall though, this is a nice hat and I will keep it and wear it. I just liked my original one better.

I was looking for a hat to take on vacation to shield my eyes from the sun. I was pleasantly surprised by this hat. I originally purchased it because you can fold it up for easy carrying but in the end I found it was so much more. The hidden air vents are amazing. Who knew. Even in 90F degree weather my head did not sweat as it usually would with a hat. It's flattering, that was the biggest surprise. It looked fashionable and was super comfortable. I cannot wear baseball caps they make my head look weird. But this structure and brim are perfect. I sure hope that I can find one smilier to the winter months. Excellent hat!

I originally came across this hat at a national park. I was traveling for work and took an extra day to go explore. It was 100+ degrees and pure sun, and since I was work traveling, I didn't have a hat with me. So, I bought one of these and omg totally fell in love. This had is the best. So comfortable and looks way better than your normal baseball cap. I love that it is a quick dry type of material. I've already washed it once and it stood up to the washing machine test. It came out like new. I've since added another one of these to my hat collection. these are perfect for the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, etc.

I love this hat. I have 3 of them and thought I was only able to get it at an outdoor store that didn't always have the color or size I was looking for. Shipping was predictably fast and the hat arrived exactly the way it is supposed to. I do a lot of hiking and value this hat because when I'm climbing hills I can take it off and fold the brim so I can stow it in my back pocket and know that I won't lose it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HAT. I get a lot of compliments on it and it is very durable (it will usually last a year and a half with regular use and washing). Cheers

I have a tiny head and medium was still too big; I was about to send it back when I realized this hat doesn't come in a smaller size. I made do with the elastic bungie strap on the back of the hat to tighten it. It's still a tad too big but it's too functional for me to fuss over; I love the hidden pocket, I stick EVERYTHING in it (cash, id, cards, lip balm), it's especially useful when traveling, no one would suspect anything in your hat! I also love that it has vents, conveniently, the vents are perfect for my sunglasses to slide in to when resting them on my head.

Great hat for wearing every day or around the water (dries quickly!). Fit was as expected per the chart on the company website and the adjustment on the back makes for a perfect fit. The style is a little more military or outdoorsy than a typical baseball or trucker cap, which I enjoy; I got the olive/drab green color so that may contribute to that perception. It held up fine to a week at the beach including being soaked with ocean water several times- I just rinsed it out with water afterward. It's still early, but it seems well-made and I don't foresee any issues.

I love this hat so much I'm buying it again. I usually look terrible in hats - like baseball hats - but these work for me because they don't completely hug the top of my head. They have a little shape to them. I wear mine all the time hiking and working in the yard. The adjustable bungee is great for windy weather. They are easy to wash by hand or in the washer and I hang it up to dry. I've washed mine so many times and they really hold up with no noticeable wear or fading. The brim folds in half and the whole hat folds up very small for a pocket or backpack.
