This game comes in a solid hard plastic box that integrates the playing field and a lid. The pieces are molded shapes (not separate balls) and are positioned according to pre-existing instructions in the included manual. As the pieces are very distinct colours and shapes, its easy to follow the manual. The puzzles start out very basic - most pieces slotted into the base with only 3 missing for example and go right up to quite advanced - only 3 pieces slotted into the base. The challenge is to use all the pieces to cover the base entirely. There is a second method of playing with 3D pyramid forms. Same principle as the basic game, some pieces are done for you in the manual, you have to figure the rest out.Solutions are also included in the manual.Although some of the pieces are quite small and therefore a possible choking hazard, this game is interesting for almost any age. Our four and a half year old will happily play away for an hour doing the different puzzles and can easily follow the designs in the manual.

A great brain teaser. Very sturdy and robust colourful game pieces. There are three different types of game all rolled into one neat case. There's a basic level where you fit the puzzle shapes flat into a rectangle, the centre of this board is also used to build a 3D pyramid shape and finally there's a different shape board on the back to fit the puzzle pieces flat into. There's a small booklet that comes with it, this includes an example of where some pieces fit and you're left to figure out the rest ...don't worry if you get stuck as there's an answers guide in the back! The challenges increase in difficulty as you go along.Everything fits nicely inside the case so easy to travel with as it's nice and small. My only negative would be that the puzzle pieces aren't magnetic which would be ideal when on a flight to ensure that a piece doesn't whizz off the board never to be seen again.Would definitely recommend this puzzle game for those that like a challenge.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter for christmas as she is really into brain teasers and similar puzzles. The puzzle comes in a plastic clip shut box which is also the board for the puzzle to be completed in making it also an ideal travel game. With the puzzle you also get a book which has over a hundred different levels in it. The levels vary in difficulty with the least difficult at the beggining of the book right up to mastermind at the back making it ideal for all abilities and also moving up the levels increases your ability in the game in stages which is great. My daughter absolutely loves this IQ puzzler and as there are plenty of different puzzles to buy from this range it gives me something to buy for her birthdays and Christmas's in the future.Love it!!

I was a little bit sceptical about how my son would find this clever little puzzle, but he really loves it. The components are connected together and the challenge is to fit these together into a 2D shape or pyramid in loads of different ways. My 9 yr old son has really engaged with it and was able to construct a pyramid easily almost straight away, and then remember how he did it. He also keeps getting it out to play with it again and again. You can make it as easy or tricky as you like!We have also tried some of the more challenging puzzles and it’s a great brain teaser for adults too. I reckon this would be a fab game to play in the car or on an aeroplane - just so long as you don’t loseany of the bits!

At first I was a bit er? As I didn't realise the colour pieces were fixed, but given its a travel game duh! It makes sense! It's a handy little game that I've kept in my bag for when we're out to keep whichever child amused for a bit. It comes with a booklet of illustrations of puzzles. You put the specified colour pieces into their "places" and then have to work out how to fix the remaining pieces into the tray to complete the puzzle. They come in various difficulties and there are also some 3d ones. (The solutions are in there too!) Sounds simple enough but actually not! So it does amuse the kids for a while (until it's banished to the bottom of my bag till the next time)

I bought it for my 6 year old nephew but wasn't sure if it was perhaps too difficult for him. So I just had to try it. I got totally hooked. He got a dinosaur present in the end and I have been playing this game ever since.I find it frustrating when I couldn't do a puzzle. And tried very hard not to look up the solutions. There are three different ways to play the puzzle. I find the 3D the easiest but still in the beginner/junior levels in all. Great fun.I would only recommend it to children perhaps 8 or older, but ones who can sit patiently and thinking because some puzzles can take longer than 10 minutes.

Great product and hours of fun as well as frustration. It's a great game for all ages and abilities.I bought for my 9 year old's birthday but his brother age 7 and I (34) really enjoy it too.We even had it in a bag at a kids party where only one of my kids were invited so the other had to sit out and as he wasn't playing it I offered it to some parents to keep them entertained. At first they were sceptical at me handing them a game to play but after 10 mins 2 seperate parents were challenging each other and loving it!!!Will definitely be looking to buy more.

I would say this might JUST be the most used game/toy i've ever bought. It's small enough for me to put in a pocket or handbag, ready to whip out when kids start getting a little fed up while eating out or travelling. Mine were 3, 5 & 6 when i bought it, so we played the puzzles backwards in that i show them the "answers" page and then get them to put the pieces in the right spot. The eldest is now solving the puzzles properly. As adults, we're still stumped by the 3d challenges ;) But it's incredibly versatile. Had ours for over a year and its still popular.

A great brain training game from 6 up! Initially bought it for my children a few years ago and more recently bought it for a friend’s child. It’s a brilliantly compact game with lots of puzzles to work out (there is a booklet included with starters to the puzzles and also an answer page). The board itself is double sided, so lots of different ways to play including solving 3D puzzles on one size of the board. It is very compact, lightweight and great for travelling or taking on longer journeys, as it can easily be slipped into a bag.

Bought for my 14 year old daughter for Xmas wondering if it would be the right age for her/ interesting enough etc. Was popular from age 46 right down to age 9. Puzzles that keep you entertained quickly and ones that keep you going for an hour or more. Frustrating and captivating in equal measure. Great little time passer if you’d rather do something other than stick the telly on.Well made, great for travel, compact and solid. Good for a journey or a handbag item to whip out for a waiting room. Impressed.

Was bought for my 8 year old son at Christmas. He absolutely loves it,starts off with gentle, relatively easy puzzles but gets gradually much more difficult. Was surprised at much it totally engrossed him, determined to work out each puzzle, then move onto the next, especially bearing in mind that a Nintendo Switch was there and ready to be played with other family members.Really recommend this puzzle for all ages too,as my son and 73 year old father ended up tussling over whom was having the next go.

Absolutely Brilliant thought for 6 year old and 4 year old as birthday presents but also bought for ourselves and the 17 and 18 year old and the adults in the family have all become addicted to this game its brilliant. Especially in lock down..... neat and tidy too. Easy to pop in your handbag in case no wifinor data to keep young generation entertained ? also great for keeping your brain young, which of course is why I use it...not to mention....its really fun! ???

I loved this game when I saw my other grandkids had it. It was fascinating. So, because it is such a good game and makes you think, I purchased this one for my 7 year old grandson who loves doing things like this. He hasn't tried it yet due to the fact lots of Christmas presents have been a distraction. I am sure he will really enjoy it once he starts playing. Also, I can't believe how quickly it arrived. Such good service.!!!

A brilliant game, suitable for kids and grown-ups alike. My 5yo daughter loved the one dimensional puzzles, my 7yo son loves the pyramids. They are also great for adults with a bit of time to spare, don’t be fooled, these definitely aren’t all that easy to solve! We took this on holiday and it provided plenty of entertainment in restaurants whilst waiting to order, for food Etc, and my only regret was not having two of them!

I cannot describe the hours of frustration you face when you try and build a pyramid. It's fun if you like the feeling of wanting to rip out your eyes.So far the office door has been locked. I haven't worked for the last 90 minutes. Can't seem to put the puzzle away till I've solved it. But then as soon as it goes in the draw it's gonna fall apart again. So hey..... Maybe don't travel with itWorth buying tho
