I heard about this shirt through Facebook and I was immediately sceptical about the amount of smell it would give off after a few days of wearing it. I live in Australia and it is currently summer, plus I’m a big sweater. Not only was the shirt light and breathable, it was also extremely comfortable! I love wearing this shirt and I’m saving up to buy another one of a different colour! I wore the shirt for probably over 7 days on and off all up, and I am only washing it now because I’m putting washing on, not necessarily out of need. The shirt smells worn but not disgusting (honestly just smells softly of my deodorant), and I honestly would be happy to wear it for another couple of days without issue.Could not be happier. I am going to get another one for my trip to Europe. I am going for 3 months and I wish to pack as light as possible!100% recommend, well done Icebreaker!!

For about nine years I have purchased six Icebreakers: a medium weight long-sleeve hoodie that’s great in winter winds or as extra warmth in my camper on cold nights. The other five are light weight, short-sleeve tees, the latest a wool-eucalyptus fiber blend that I starting to put through the tests. So far it mirrors the qualities of my other tee-shirts. They are a great first layer during winter (cotton kills!) and while handling the hot, dry days here in the high mts of NM and the hot, humid climate in Malawi, Africa. I love how they wick off sweat (I don’t perspire, I sweat like a horse) and quickly wash and dry. This reduces the number of tees I pack, sometimes only adding one cotton shirt.Love this Cool-Lite product and look forward to further tests against the qualities of my all Marino tees.

These are the only t-shirts I wear anymore. I have three of them and rotate them, which is probably uneccessary as you can wear them 10 times before they need a wash. They're significantly cooler than the tech-lite shirts and only slightly less durable. My backpack rubbed a small hole on one of the shirts after hundreds of days wearing it. It was quick and easy to repair and the heather design hides repairs well. They're also very resistant to sun bleaching. My other shirts all look two tone but these ones still look great after many days in tropical climates. For reference, I am 6'1 and 170 lb with a slightly broad chest and shoulders. Medium fits me perfectly. Not too tight and drapes beautifully. These fit a little bigger than other icebreaker shirts I've owned.

I'm always looking for technical layers that are durable, feel good next to the skin, and perform well at moisture management. I've got a drawer full of synthetic fabrics that work well when new, but they're fragile and pill, abrade, and smell after a while, even with regular washing and rotation. My best pieces are merino wool, which, if I had the means, would replace all other base layers. Wool is a splurge, but so totally worth the investment. If you haven't experienced what merino wool can do when working out, you might start with the Sphere Short Sleeve. It's super comfortable, looks great, moves moisture and should last a good while. It's my new go to shirt when setting out on a hard hike in the desert or mountains.

I, like the vast majority of people, normally wear typical cheap fast-fashion type T-shirts. I’m fed up of them, they don’t last, are often poor quality, and are made of non-sustainable or unnatural materials that just exasperate modern societies wasteful nature. Not this T-shirt though! This T-shirt is excellent. I can wear it for multiple days without it becoming smelly, keeps me cool (not normally a prerequisite in Scotland), feels very comfortable, and appears to be of excellent quality. As for the longevity of the T-shirt, time will only tell - but I expect it will do just fine. My only niggle is that the fit tool on the website suggested XL but I find it just slightly larger than I’mnormally used too.

I love these cool lite t shirts, I’ve bought two in the sales. I bought a medium first time round as I wanted it to be a little more Tommie than what I’d usually wear. It was a little larger than anticipated but that doesn’t bother me. I decided to get a small the second time round which I would say is perfect. They hold up well like full merino, I’ve purposefully worn mine for an extended period (about 4days) and had a run in it on the 5th day. I could imagine doing multi day treks in this shirt and not worrying about smelling like a yak after 12hours. Highly recommend just advice that the fit is slightly oversized. So if you’re a fringe size like me.I’d err on the side of caution and go smaller.

My nephew told me why he loved this shirt. He was biking/camping across the US several years ago. He and his friend stopped one night and pitched their tents in the pouring rain. My nephew used his shirt to wipe down the entire inside of the tent and threw the shirt in a ball in a corner before collapsing in exhaustion. He woke up the next day, and he was dry as a bone. His friend was still soaked and had had a horrible night. My nephew picked up the shirt, which had dried overnight, and wore it to go to have breakfast in town!! (His friend’s shirt trailed on the back of his bike for hours till it finally dried). He’s sold on these shirts!

I love my Icebreakers, I have a few T-shirts regularly and some half zip tops that I wear almost daily during winter. I read someone's review that complained about small holes in their T-shirts, I had the same problem and I discovered the problem - small cockroaches! When I left my T-shirts in the laundry basket, the little F'ers came hunting for some yummy wool and 2 T-shirts ended up with tiny little holes in them. So now I put the T-shirts or any other woollen clothing straight into the wash or store them out of the laundry basket and up away from the floor. Since then no holes, treating the house for roaches also helped.

I wore this shirt for four 12hr shifts in a row under a uniform shirt and body armour. I did not wash it in between, just hung it overnight. Weather ranged from pouring rain to hot and sunny during that time period. I always felt dry and there wasn't any rubbing or chafing anywhere. Most surprising was that after 48hrs of wear, trapped against my body with no real airflow, there wasn't any smell of body odor. I could have worn it like it was clean. Shirt is well constructed and seems like it will last. As far as fit, I bought a medium. I'm 5' 8" 180lbs athletic build. Fits true to size. Highly recommend.

I've been wearing merino for a while and most of my clothes are for cold days. 200gr+. As it gets hotter I couldn't wear my merino clothes so I went back to wearing thinner clothes. The things cotton doesn't feel as good as merino and the heat absorption is too fast and Id get even hotter. So I bought this shirt which is a hybrid of merino mixed with material that great for summer activity. The rate this shirt absorbs heat is really slow. If you want a thin nice to touch shirt for daily wear, absorb sweat evenly, dry fast, doesn't smell, non wrinkle, low heat absorption shirt-this is a great choice.

This t-shirt was for my partner who has recently started wearing merino wool. I think he was envious of my icebreaker items!! He first bought this in large (his recommended size), but we ordered another in medium and the fit is much better. He wears one one day and the other the next, and doesn't have to wash them after one day, which he would always do with cotton. The beige colour is lovely, the cut is excellent, it is lightweight, and it keeps him warm or cool, depending on the temperature. He is very pleased - a new icebreaker convert!

I came across Icebreaker a few years ago when living in Melbourne and to date I have owned four coolite tees. I am now living back in the UK and have two coolite tees that are on constant rotation. They make a perfect base layer for UK winters and are great for any type of outdoor activity. Cotton just doesn’t cut it anymore! Icebreaker is a little more expensive, but far out performs any other merino products I’ve used. I’d recommend Icebreaker to anyone and will continue to use this great product for years to come.

A great T-shirt. I’m tall and average weight. The XL fits me lengthwise without looking baggy around my torso. I’ve worn the t-shirt for about a week and it still doesn’t smell. The material feels nice against my skin. The yellow is very intense but it’s growing on me. The website wouldn’t let me chose different colours and still receive the 20% off promo that was running. So I bought two yellow ones. That’s my only complaint. Great value especially if you get them on sale

This was my second purchase of the same product. I bought the first a year ago and had an epiphany of how much I enjoy wearing it. It's comfortable, breathes well, fits to size, and also presents itself as casual but professional, without being in-your-face-sporty. I especially like that the colors are solid without being excessively vibrant. I've worn it in transit, on long hikes, to work... you name it, Icebreaker's apparel does the job.

I bought the t shirt for my Dad for his birthday and in line with a virtual trek of the Spanish Camino he has planned to do in our driveway in the north of Ireland! He walks on average 25KM per day over the 5 days and so the t shirt has proven very useful while walking and he hasn’t changed it yet! The fundraising idea has picked up a lot of attention in Ireland and the UK and I’m glad this t shirt was part of it. Thanks
